The advice I would give to my teenage self would be don’t go down to the river with your cousin Manny. He will shoot you in the head and ruin your life. No one will ever look at you the same. When he poses the question, just run anywhere you can, but don’t go down to the river with him. He is evil and he doesn’t care about you because it shows in how he has treated me over the years.

I know, you guys are close, but once he shoots you in the head. He leaves you behind and you get no justice because your mom doesn’t press any charges because it is her sister’s son. So, I would emphasize not going down to the river with him. He is an animal who doesn’t care what happens to you. He only cares about himself. I know if you would have shot him in the head you would have been there for him, but since he shoots you in the head. He vanishes from your life all together.
