Since, I read so slow. I only read the book once, but it was grueling how long it took me to get through the book. When, i read the book i was on tegretol so it went slowly.The catcher in the rye is a book about Holden the main character. He gets kicked out of three boarding schools as a teenager. He is angry and lonely because he doesn’t know what to do with his life. It is mainly about teenage angst, alienation, and the transition into adulthood. If, I could find the book again. I would reread it with a new perspective, not being on Tegretol. Thank you for reading. Have a great night.
