Throughout the 1980’s. I would play my Atari. For hours, after school. I had over 50 catragizes. I had games like pac man, tank, chess, pole position, which is a racing game. The graphics were not that good, but it was fun racing in pole position. Pac-man was the biggest challenge trying to not let the ghosts kill pac man. It was fun to play all the games. Well, I had been playing the games since I was six years old and they had lasted a long time.
After my injury of being shot in the head, when I was 13 years old. My mom and her boyfriend pawned my Atari. The whole thing. The catragizes and the gaming system. There went all the good times I had with the Atari. It was great because I could play the games with a joystick and could use one hand to play the games. So it was a win win situation. My mom pawned the Atari. It is hard to forgive her for that because I had so much fun playing the games on my Atari. If I get mad at her I will bring it up and she says, my older sister’s boyfriend pawned it. So it is a little tough to figure out who pawned it. Yet, she could have stopped him from pawning my Atari. It just makes me mad. It was practically all I had for entertainment back then. I could barely walk back then. I could still play those games though. They brought me a lot of joy back then. Well, it is bitter sweet what happened to them. But life goes on. Now, I play games on my cellphone so that is cool with me. Thank you for reading. Have a great night.
