A disability always makes me feel out of place.

An older picture of me, but I am disabled. I walk with a gimp. My left arm doesn’t work. So I often feel out of place because of where I go. There aren’t any disabled people around me. Usually, they are physically able around me. But, that is life. There are a lot of people who didn’t get shot in the head or have physical ailments. I guess it is a good thing because more people were like me. It would be bad because they would take forever to get things done, with one arm. We would not have the finer inventions, such as the computer or the cell phone. It takes people with two hands to make devices.

In conclusion, I often feel out of place because of my disability. I am just hoping one of these days, the cousin who shot me in the head gets his comeuppance. Thank you for reading. Have a great night.

  1. You are perfect. There are two things in philosophy we say: essence and accident (technical phrase). Essence – made in the Image and called to the Likeness of God. Accident is the particular circumstances of birth, and life lived – Your experiences and particular , say, eye color or birth defect. I say focus on your perfection. Just something to consider.
