Salads and walks

These days, everyone is so busy. They don’t have time to think about themselves. I fall into this category, where I don’t think about myself and focus on others. Yet, for the last couple of weeks, I have been going for walks. It really helps with depression and exercise is important. Walking gives me energy to get through those tough days, to clear my mind, and to breathe in the fresh air. It is a great stress reliever, too.

Also, salads give me energy because, essentially, I eat the energy from the plant, which is photosynthesis, which is how plants make food from sunshine and water. There are a lot of goodies in those salads, such as romaine, tomatoes, spinach, banana peppers, cucumbers, and purple cabbage. These all have nutrients, and all have vitamins that are essential for the human body. So when I eat a salad, I pep up completely. Also, with an apple and coffee, now I am really awake. Through in some water also, then I am good to go. The burrito gives a little energy, but if I eat the whole thing. I will feel sluggish. That is why my sister and I share a burrito.
