Personal belongings that are most dear.

What personal belongings do you hold most dear?

I have a lot of items that are most dear to me. Like most people, they have tons of items that they hold most dear to them and life would not be the same without them. I will name just a few items I hold most dear, but I am sure there are more.

Drum set and drum stick

The drum set is one of those items I need to relieve my anger. By hitting the drums I feel better and I am not so angry.

Notebook and pen

I need to write in my note book every day and write lyrics so I don’t feel uptight and get a headache because I have been doing it for a long time.

Bed

Sleeping is very important to me. I need to sleep at least 7 to 8 hours to feel refreshed and ready for the day.

Cellphone

I need to communicate with the world and my friends and family so it is important to have a good working cellphone. Also, to read things on the Internet or watch movies or shows. My cell phone is dear to me.

Books

I need some books to read either leisurely or to find stuff that I forgot. So books are dear to me.

Clothes and underwear

Without these items I would be naked and getting charged for indecent exposure.

In conclusion- the personal belongings I hold most dear are drum set and drum stick, notebook and pen, bed, cellphone, books, and clothing and underwear. Thank you for reading.

Legacy I want to leave

What is the legacy you want to leave behind?

In this blog, I will discuss what legacy I want to leave behind? Lots of people have different legacies they would like to leave behind. In the grace of God, I would like to leave my music behind. I play drums, shaker, and sing. It is a fun thing I do. I need more time to get it done, but with God’s help, I can leave a legacy of music behind. Thank you for reading.

Cold weather eh!

How do you feel about cold weather?

In this blog I will discuss how I feel about cold weather. Well, I don’t like the weather, that is too cold or too hot. I like the weather around 70’s to 80’s degrees. Some days in Tucson AZ it can get 112 degrees which is too hot. In Phoenix, it gets 120s which is way too hot. Tucson is not as hot as Phoenix which is good, but it still gets hot here. That is why I go out around 6 or 7 PM when the sun goes down and it is cooler outside.

It can get cold in Tucson around December to February and it can get in the teens that is too cold for me. I am happier when it is 70s to 80s. As long as there’s not any cold wind I am all right when it is cold because I have hair on most of my body and I also have a good jacket, but like I said 70d to 80s is perfect for me.

In conclusion-i don’t like it too hot or too cold, I like it 70 to 80s. Thank you for reading.

This night was perfect 70s to 80s.

The juggling act

How do you balance work and home life?

In this blog, I will talk about how I balance my work and home life. What I do is when I am at work, I focus just on work and when I am at home I focus on things like music and reading and watching shows, but I leave work stuff at work and home stuff at home. So I focus on what I am doing either work or home stuff, so I don’t get stressed about work or home.

At home, I do things that relax me such as music or reading or watching shows. When I am at work I focus on the job and how to get the items to the customers most efficiently.

So in conclusion-I leave things at work that are work related and things at home that are home related. For instance, relaxing is a home activity taking food and other items to people is a work thing so that is how I balance it. Thank you for reading.

Sacrifice of being disabled

What sacrifices have you made in life?

In this blog, I will discuss what sacrifices I have made in life. I was shot in the head and the gun shot wound made me disabled. My left arm does not function and I walk with a gimp.

So I have sacrificed a lot in this life. If I was physically normal I would have gotten married or at least some children, but since I am disabled. It is harder for me to adjust to a life with children and a wife. I am not saying disabled people don’t have children or get married. It just didn’t happen for me. So I have made sacrifices that way.

So I have sacrificed some life events that happen for most, didn’t happen for me. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Social work, but yet I do Doordash. So I have sacrificed that also. I really need to look into doing something with the degree I have. If it isn’t too late.

In conclusion-I have sacrificed not having children and a family and a wife for a car I must pay by doing Doordash. Plus, I have a Bachelor’s degree in Social work, but I do Doordash. Thank you for reading.

Old things that never get old, until it has holes.

What’s the oldest things you’re wearing today?

In this blog, I will explain the oldest things I wear. Well, it just happens to be old shirts that I have from the year 2000 and 2001. When I was in Americorps. Americorps is a company in which you volunteer in an agency in the community and get paid through the Americorps. You also get an education award after you complete so many hours at the agency. If you are full time, you must complete 4800 hours, but if you are part time you can complete 900 hours to 1500 hours. It depends on what you have agreed to complete for the education award. My education award is $4800, plus I get paid a stipend every two weeks. So it was a good deal. Well the oldest shirt I wear is an Americorps shirt.

This shirt is from 2000 and I still wear it. It has no holes.
The Martin Luther King shirt from the year 2001 is one I still wear. Martin Luther King was a civil rights leader who gave black people civil rights. He was a great leader.

In conclusion-the oldest shirts I wear are an Americorps shirt from 2000 and a Martin Luther King shirt from 2001. Thank you for reading.

Follower made a leader

Are you a leader or a follower?

In this blog, I will answer the question am I a leader or a follower. Many people are leaders and followers, but being a follower for me got me in trouble.

I used to follow my cousin into starting fires and stealing mail. Even one time, we stole from a store, before there were cameras. So I was a big follower.

Then, I received the bullet in the head from the cousin. So now I am a leader. I will not let anyone lead me into a troubling situation. I use a powerful tool. It is called abstract thinking.

If someone is going to get me into trouble, I just ask myself a question. What if? If they want me to steal something. I ask myself what If? I get caught by the police and go to jail, not worth it. If I knew about what if, I would have probably not gotten shot in the head. I would have asked myself the question what if I get shot? I would have never agreed to go down to the river with the cousin.

If you have kids, teach them about what if, so they don’t get into trouble. If your children have abstract thinking. It will help them against people trying to get them into trouble. For instance, if they are in school and want to ditch class with a friend. They ask themselves that question, what if. Then they can go through different scenarios in their heads. What if I get caught and have to serve detention or get suspended. So from there they can make a decision to ditchΒ  or not. If, they don’t want detention, they would pass on ditching class.

In conclusion-I am a leader and I use abstract thinking so I don’t get into trouble. By asking myself, what if this or that happens. Then I can make an informed decision to do it or not do it. If it is going to get me into trouble no. Thank you for reading.
