Mission is possible

Everyone has a mission, some missions are possible some are not, but most missions if you implant little achievable goals within the mission. They should be attainable. Like I said in many posts, start incrementally, which means start small so that you succeed much quicker, so you don’t give up on your mission. See, the mission should be the overall goal. Something that you strive for. Starting incrementally just means, you are taking baby steps to get to the main goal or mission.

Eating good salads and playing music on the drum set, writing, and singing the lyrics is my mission. I’m getting there incrementally because I practice music everyday on the drum set. So, when I get to play in front of people. I am ready to do so. Playing music is the mission. Thank you for reading. Have a great night.

Blog knowledge

I hope my blogs of salads and fruit salads will give other people out there, a reason to replicate the salads they see on my blog because if they want to slim down, there is nothing like a good salad.

Plus, being shot in the head, doesn’t mean I stop living, it just means I have a minor set back. I do have to put more effort into the things I do, but it is all right. I guess I survived for a reason and my passion is music. I like playing drums, shakers, writing, and singing. It is all fun. So I hope people get that I am shot in the head and I still do things that keep me alive and wanting to do more of what I need to do, to stay alive which is music. Thank you for reading.

Salmon and Salad

This foxy salad was very good. It was filled with goodness, and the best part was that it had salmon with some potatoes, cucumbers, romaine, and spinach. It was quite the medoly of flavors, with all the seasonings, such as truffle, oregano powder, lions main, and other ones. Those were the really good ones. This salad was tip top. It was one of the best tasting salads. It was delicious.

My first love was music. I have loved music ever since I was a little kid. I would listen to Pink Floyd Dark side of the moon and be in awe with the album. If you have never listened to Pink Floyd, give their music a listen to. It is amazing. This music from the 1960 and early 1970’s this is when musicians could play their instruments well. Listen to Jimi Hendrix or Led Zeppelin. Those are monsters of that time. Without the Beatles, you would not have the pop sound that you have today. This type of music was my first love because they played their instruments really well, and like I said up there. I was in awe of the music; even though the music was before my time. I still enjoyed listening to it. I wasn’t around in the 1960s, and I was too young to enjoy it in the early 1970s, but in the eighties, I could enjoy the music. I really liked the way they put the music together. In that era, there were many bands i liked, such as Jethro Tull and Moody Blues, but for me, Pink Floyd floored me with their sound. I saw them in concert and thought I had died and went to heaven. They were so good. They had a screen on top of the stage displaying all these colors. Then mechanical pigs on the side of the screen above the stage. So music was my first love, especially Pink Floyd. Thank you for reading.

The good and the bad

We ate a delicious salad and an In and out burger. The good with the bad. It is all about moderation. One legacy I want to leave behind is eating salads is good for you and you will probably live longer, eating salads because lettuce cleans you out. So, it is a win win situation. The burger will probably be cleaned out of my system. Plus, drinking water will get it out faster. Plus, the protein in the burger will probably be good to build muscle. So the salad is light on your system and the burger is a little heavy, but with the water and the lettuce will help it leave my system rapidly.

I also want to leave a legacy of music, playing the shaker, singing and writing lyrics. I maybe older but I am not dead. So, playing music and eating good salads is the way I live my life. I practice music every day so I can memorize my lyrics and say them without hesitation. Thank you for reading.

Say no to salad and pizza

Sometimes, saying no is good, sometimes it is bad, especially when you are going to eat salad and pizza. Sometimes, just saying no will hurt someone so I don’t push the no button very quickly. When, I am drained and don’t want a fight, I give in. Most of my goals are something I have to contend with. They have nothing to do with other people’s agenda. We have to eat so I just give in to food and think of my goals and say, there is always tomorrow. I procrastinate, but when it finally comes down to the nitty gritty, I will go out and get what I need. Food can’t wait because we are always hungry so I give to people wanting to go here and there, but I try to make time for my goals to flourish, such as writing lyrics and practicing drums and singing lyrics a little. As long as I can stay on top of the creative part of my goal. I am doing fine. I have to practice every day, to bury the anger I feel for this injury. So playing music is my goal. There is nothing interfering with this not even salad and pizza, just saying. The goal is still pretty alive. Thank you for reading.

Getting things in order-

Well with the passage of time, there was a period of time where I was not disabled. I was happier when I was not disabled. I miss using my left arm, but at least I have my right arm to use. Using one arm for everything is challenging, but it can be done. Hey, I could be a quad so I am trying to look at the positive side of life and trying to be grateful for what I have. With this injury, I could have died.

So, preparing myself for what comes next in life is hard. My real father died of diabetes, so that is why I eat a lot of salads and drinks coffee and water because I don’t want diabetes on top of this injury. If, I continue on the path I am on right now. I can live long enough to see justice happen to the cousin that shot me in the head. He does meth or at least he used to, so hopefully he will pay for what he did to me because like I said in many posts. I got no justice. I am depressed because of this and I don’t really talk to my mom because she didn’t press any charges and when I was younger, she always left me with other people, so I have abandonment issues.

Well, the perspective of life that is my happy point is playing music, singing, drumming, and playing shakers. That is all I have to offer this world because this is my passion. I may be older, but I still have more music to come out of me. Thank you for reading.

Dream job won’t hurt to try-

Everyday, I write lyrics and play drums or the shaker and I sing a little. It may be in my head, but it still counts as singing. As long as the words form in my head, it should be substantial. I cannot belt out clever lyric because I live in an apartment and I don’t want to disturb my neighbors.

I have always wanted to be a musician. I love playing music, playing drums, singing, and playing shakers. They are all fun to do. Now, if I could get paid for this, this would be the ultimate job for me. They say follow your passion. So there it is in a nutshell, a musician.

Somewhere under the moon is my dream job of being a musician. Thank you for reading

Legacy I want to leave

What is the legacy you want to leave behind?

In this blog, I will discuss what legacy I want to leave behind? Lots of people have different legacies they would like to leave behind. In the grace of God, I would like to leave my music behind. I play drums, shaker, and sing. It is a fun thing I do. I need more time to get it done, but with God’s help, I can leave a legacy of music behind. Thank you for reading.

Topics to discuss

What topics do you like to discuss?

In this blog, I will discuss what topics I like to talk about. There are many great topics to discuss in life some of my favorite topics are.

Food

These were awesome dishes with salad and pizza Two different days of course, but they were yummy.

Food is a huge topic for me to discuss. I like to talk about different salad ingredients, such as spices and leafy vegetables, broccoli, cauliflower, and a host of different ingredients.

Inflation

This is a huge deal in my circle of friends because everything is going up, such as groceries, gas, rent, utilities. It is insane. How much things have gone up, even at Walmart, but some things at Walmart are cheaper than other places, such as Whole Foods. Whole Foods is great though, if you catch a sale.

Wars

The war in Israel and Palestine and the students all over the US protesting the war. The poor people in the middle of that war. I feel sorry for all of them. If Israel continues to bomb Gaza they will commit genocide, which is terrible. Hopefully the war begins talks for a truce.

Also the war in Ukraine and Russia, where the Russians are attacking the Ukrainians. It is awful also. If, the US is not careful, we could go to war with Russia and that would not be good. Hopefully a peaceful truce can be discussed in that war also.

Music

My friends and I discuss music a lot of the time, either making music or performing music at different bars and clubs. Or talking about Kurt Cobain (lead singer of Nirvana) or Chester Bennington (lead singer of Lincoln Park) and how come they had to commit suicide and they were so talented. Yes, depression is real and takes a lot of lives. Then, you got drug abuse which claims lives too. Put them together, you get something leathol. I still am sad that they are gone. Heaven only knows what kind of music they would have put out if they did not commit suicide.

In conclusion- I talk about food, inflation, wars, and music. Thank you for reading.
