Dream job and more-

Everyone has their ideal job. Some people are able to make it happen, others dwindle trying to make it happen. A long time ago, I was going to be a social worker. So, I set out and received my bachelor’s degree in social work. I thought this was my ideal job. Until, I could not get hired in any of the jobs in my field, so I became a teacher’s aide instead. It was cool while it lasted. Some other teachers aides would get angry at me. So I quit that job because of a teacher’s aides wrath at me. So, I dwindled a little more. I do doordash a little, but I still don’t know what I want from this life. I am old, but my dream job would be making music. I like playing the drums and writing and also singing. It is fun to do all of it. I practice daily on the craft; even though I am old. I do it more for my mental health and it helps me relax. Maybe one of these days, I can get a gig or go to an open mic. Playing music and eating delicious salads and God

This chicken and tomato, romaine, spinach, pickles, peppers,purple cabbage, and carrots was a sure delight to eat. It was definitely delicious and it is very good for me. Diabetes runs in my family, so I need to eat more salads. Also, playing music is very fun. Playing drums or shakers it is all fun. I play drums and sing my lyrics everyday. I am very angry because I walk with a limp, and my left arm does’t function correctly. So, I use music to ground myself and soothe the angry child within. It works, along with praying to God . I would go mad if God was not in my daily routine because my anger takes over. I pray so I am more at peace. Thank you for reading.

Dream job won’t hurt to try-

Everyday, I write lyrics and play drums or the shaker and I sing a little. It may be in my head, but it still counts as singing. As long as the words form in my head, it should be substantial. I cannot belt out clever lyric because I live in an apartment and I don’t want to disturb my neighbors.

I have always wanted to be a musician. I love playing music, playing drums, singing, and playing shakers. They are all fun to do. Now, if I could get paid for this, this would be the ultimate job for me. They say follow your passion. So there it is in a nutshell, a musician.

Three objects, but there is more!

What are three objects you couldn’t live without?

This blog will go over what three objects I could not live without Realistically there are more, but if I could only pick three these are it.

Drumstick and drums

I have to be able to relieve my anger everyday or else I get really pissed off. Drumming helps me relax and not be so pissed off.

Pen and paper
I have to be able to write my thoughts and ideas everyday or else I get a headache and it helps me focus on my plans. Mostly, I write lyrics in the notebook to sing while I play my drums.So one cannot exist without the other.

Money
Everyone needs money to buy things. Without money, life would be a free for all. In essence, it would be good, but no one would have any motivation to do something. If everything was free. We need motivation to get up in the butt crack of the morning so money is it.

In conclusion- the three objects I could not live without would be drumstick and drums, pen and paper and money. I know this is more than three objects, but they cannot coexist without each other. So that is why I grouped them this way. Thank you for reading.

Playtime is a great time!

Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?

In this blog, I will answer the question, do I play in daily life? What says”playtime”to you.

I play my drums every night. I cannot play them too loud because I usually play them late at night. I have pads to muffle the noise so I can hit them without making too much noise. It is a great workout for me.

I also sing original songs while I am hitting my drums. Such as “Burning fire.”

The memory

Of that night

I got shot in the head

Burns in sight

Should’ve been dead

Well writing on jetpack is something else I do for play. It is always interesting the questions they ask. Most are intriguing. It is a fun way to express myself.

What is something others do that sparks your admiration?

Introduction- in this blog I will discuss something others do that sparks my admiration.

Since, the age of 12 I started drumming. I would come home from school and put on a record of Led Zeppelin and start practicing drumming with the drummer of Led Zeppelin, the great John Bonham. I would play my heart out practicing drumming with John Bonham.

Then I went to the river with the idiot cousin in Ariavipa on December 31st a long time ago and received a bullet to my head.

The injury left me with my left arm paralyzed and my left leg gimpy and, also my left eye seeing double. I also have memory issues.

Through all of this I still enjoy playing the drum set with my right arm (one arm) and my right foot (one foot or leg). It is great fun playing drums and singing lyrics I wrote.

What I admire about others is that they can use both arms and legs to drum. I wish the cousin would not have shot me in the head so I could have been a great drummer like John Bonham.

I know there is a drummer who uses one arm to drum and he is excellent. His name is Rick Allen. He drums with Def Leopard. He is awesome. I admire him too for not giving up on the drums; even though he has one arm to drum with.

In conclusion-the thing I admire about others is that they can use both arms and legs to drum. I only use one arm to drum. I also admire Rick Allen from Def Leopard because he also drums with one arm and he is awesome. Thank you for reading.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Introduction- Today I am going to talk about the place I would live if I could in the world.

If money was not an issue because the place I would live is costly. It has a big music scene. There are a lot of things to do in the city of my choice. There is a big comic relief section in the city of my choice. It is Los Angeles California. That is where I would move if I could, if I had enough money and money was not a thing. The cost of living in Los Angeles is high, so that is why I am in Tucson AZ.

In conclusion-I would move to Los Angeles because mainly the music scene is huge. I like to sing and play the shaker or the drum set. Thank you for reading.

My love Darcy

Name the most expensive personal item you’ve ever purchased (not your home or car).

Everyone has expensive items that they own. They may own computers, jewelry, clothes, like a suit or a tuxedo. The most expensive thing I own is my drum set Darcy. I named her that because of the D for Darcy, which there is a d for Drum set. So she is Darcy the drum set.

She helps me relieve a lot of my anger, without her I would have serious anger issues. Since I have her I am more relaxed and can ease my tension.

In conclusion, my drum set Darcy is the most expensive thing I own. It has gotten me through a lot of pain and anger. Thank you for reading.

My favorite subject!

What was your favorite subject in school?

Introduction- Everyone has a favorite subject in school, let it be English, math, or science or something else. Probably because they would excel in that subject. Or it presented a challenge for them, either way it is their favorite subject.

My favorite subject in school was the band because I like to play the drums. It was called the snare drum or the bass drum, or even cymbals. I played the snare drum. I liked the challenge of learning the new music. Back then, I was going to be a drummer. Then, I received a bullet in the head. That set me back a lot, but I still like playing the drums. It is fun and relieves my anger.

Mostly, in front of an audience I like to play the shaker because it is easier to transport. I will bring my drum set if the people really want me to.

In conclusion- my favorite subject in school was the band because I got to play the drums ie the snare drum. Others played clarinets, flutes, saxophones, French Horns, trombones, etc. plus percussion instruments. It was a fun time during my youth until I was shot in the head when I was 13 years old. Even today, I still enjoy playing the drum set because it is fun and relieves my anger. Thank you for reading.

What is your favorite hobby or pastime?

Many people enjoy hobbies and pastimes Some of my favorite hobbies are singing, writing and drumming. It is hard for me to choose one . I do all of them everyday or else I get moody. Drumming eases my anger. Writing helps me focus on the day. Singing just makes me feel better.

I would much rather write then speak at an event or to a class. For some reason it is easier for me to sing to a crowd than to speak to a crowd. I know that is weird but it is true.

I used to have to publicly speak for my degree in Social Work. What I did is just read the speech to my class that worked out fine. It was not my favorite thing to do but I got it done.

Singing is the way I express my anger. I have a lot of anger because I was shot in the head. It needs to come out so I sing. It makes me more relaxed.

Writing is the tool I use to develop the lyrics that I sing. I sing original material because I don’t sound like anyone else so I make up lyrics. The drums are what I use to sing my lyrics on. So I sing and play drums at the same time. This is my hobby one cannot happen without the other. Thank you for reading.
