Risk for music

What’s the biggest risk you’d like to take — but haven’t been able to?

Introduction- many people are in a position of taking a big risk, but have not done it yet, for a number of reasons. They need to get prepared to do the risk, or they do not have the time to take the big risk. Whatever the reason here is the biggest risk I would like to take, but have not been able to do yet.

I would like to play some gigs at bars and clubs singing and playing the shaker. I have done a little gigging in Tucson, but it was before COVID-19 hit. I would start out slowly just going to open mics, and see if there is any interest in getting a band going, then we can start gigging around Tucson. Open mics are at bars that have a special night where musicians have a chance to perform in front of a crowd, usually for about fifteen minutes and then the next performer comes up. There is usually no money for the performance and if you are good, the bar can ask you to come back and gig there, but that has not happened to me.

In conclusion- people are in a position to take a big risk, but have not done it yet, for a number of reasons. They have to do preparation for the big risk or they don’t have enough time to do the big risk. Whatever the reason, my big risk is to get a band together and start gigging. Thank you for reading.

Proud beyond belief

What are you most proud of in your life?

Introduction- people are proud of all kinds of things, such as educational achievements, having a good job, having a family that loves them, or being alive.

I am most proud of living on my own and not having to rely on my family for support. I pay my own bills, groceries, pay my rent and utilities. I am most proud of being independent. Even though I am disabled I can still be independent and have a place to call my own.

I am also proud of having a sister in my life to help me with cleaning and preparing food for me and helping with my job doordash. She is great.

I am also proud of having a job like doordash, that I have the freedom to work when I want to work. It is great.

In conclusion, people are proud of all kinds of things, such as educational achievements, family, and a good job. I am proud that I am independent and pay my own bills and have an apartment to come home to. I am also proud of having a sister in my life and also having a flexible job like doordash. Thank you for reading.

Not enough!

What have you been working on?

Introduction- in a fast paced world you always have to have things to be working on, to make your situation better or to have some fun doing certain activities.

I have been working on writing more and digging deep into my past and trying to make sense why the cousin shot me in the head. The only answer I got was because he was jealous of me. Sure he said it was an accident, but then why did he lie and said I shot myself in the head. I guess because he was afraid to go to prison, which he certainly belonged there. He is a criminal. I feel my family supported him more than me because they didn’t put him in prison when I woke up and told them that he shot me in the head. Well, I will ponder this question a little more then, write on what I discovered later.

Other things I have been working on is my job doing doordash, delivering food to people with my sister. It is somewhat challenging when the map doesn’t lead me to the right address, as long as it is in the vicinity I am good because we can find the house. It also is not any good when the customer doesn’t put on their porch lights because accidents happen like falls and that isn’t good. Thank goodness everyone put on their porch lights today, yes!

In conclusion, in a fast paced world we all have things that we are working on toward certain goals. I have been pondering why my cousin shot me in the head and I came up with that he was jealous. Even though he said it was an accident, then why did he lie and say I shot myself. I can guess and say he didn’t want to go to prison. The other thing I am working on is doordash, delivering food to people. Thank you for reading.

So much to try

What could you try for the first time?

Introduction; people all over try food or go to places or try playing instruments for the first time and many more things, they try for the first time. In this blog I will discuss what I would try for the first time.

I love Indian cuisine so I would try Paratha, which is flaky, layered, golden brown Indian bread. I would have them put potato and cauliflower in the Paratha.

Indian food, I would  also like to try is Makhani, which is a mushroom dish. Indian food is one of the best types of cuisines because of the way they  prepare the food. They use Tumeric and Cumin spices, which are very good for your body.

In conclusion, I would like to try Indian dishes Paratha and Makhani. Indian food is one of the healthiest foods you can eat. Thank you for reading.

Principles that define me.

What principles define how you live?

Introduction; in this blog I will be discussing principles and how they define how I live?

First principal, is do unto others that you would do to yourself. This is the golden rule. Christ said this and I live by it for the most part. For example, I would never intentionally hit a person with my car. So I expect others not to do the same to me.

Another one, is to treat others with respect, even if they get on your last nerve, still treat them with respect and kindness. As long as I am being respectful, they cannot say I am being disrespectful.

Another one, do not lie to people. If you do not like people to lie to you then maybe you should not lie to them.

Another one, is to empathize with people. I put myself in others shoes and really try to look at life from their perspective.

Have compassion for people and really try to listen to them and don’t interrupt them, just let them speak freely and just listen to them. This is what I do a lot of.

Here is another one, know your strengths and weaknesses. This is one I have to work at, since now I am disabled and it is hard for me to tell my strengths and weaknesses, but I am getting better at it.

Another one is don’t blame others for something that is your fault. Now I can definitely blame my cousin for shooting me in the head, but I cannot blame him for where I live or what I eat, but you know in a way it is his fault. I would be able to do much more if he had not shot me in the head and made me disabled.

Another one, is to take time to play. Everyday I play my drums. I feel better doing that because I am letting go of the anger in my heart. I am most happy playing my drums.

In conclusion, I went over the principals that define how I live; such as the golden rule “Do unto others that you would do to yourself.” Treat others with respect. Don’t lie to people. Empathize with people. Be compassionate and really listen to people. Know your strengths and weaknesses. Don’t blame others for things that are your fault. Lastly, have fun and play. Putting off for another day!

What have you been putting off doing? Why?

Introduction: in this blog, I will be talking about what I have been putting off doing. People put off doing things for a number of reasons. Some are that they are procrastinators, or too busy to do the things they need to do. Or, their life is such a mess that they need help organizing their lives. Organization is one of those things that everyone can use assistance in.

I moved recently and still have not moved in all the way. When I moved I didn’t realize how much stuff I had. I have a lot of clothes, DVDs, and cds. I have to go through a lot of things before I can get settled in my new apartment. Plus, this apartment is smaller than where I was living before, but I am making it work. I just need to be more organized.

The reason I put it off is because I need to work to make money for the car I have. Plus, I come home late and the last thing I want to do is to organize my stuff. I get tired easily, but one of these days I will get my place in order. I just have to do it little by little.

In conclusion; I discussed the reasons why people put things off, such as being too busy, they are procrastinators and wait til the last minute to get things done. Or their life is such a mess that they need help organizing things. I also discussed that I moved recently and need to organize things, such as DVDs, cds, and clothes. I also went over the reason why I put it off because I have to work to keep the car I drive. I have to pay payments on the car. One of these days I will get organized little by little. Thank you very much for reading this.

On my own

When was the first time you really felt like a grown up (if ever)?

Introduction; this blog is about the first time I really felt like a grown up. Well, many people develop into a grown up at different times and different places in their lives. It is a matter of taking responsibility for your own life. Being a grown up means not depending on others for your life. You have complete control over your own life and you pay your own bills. You can make decisions for yourself.

When I realized I was a grown up was when I was 23 years old. I moved out of my parents house and rented my own apartment. I paid the rent and the electricity in the apartment. I would also buy my own groceries at Fry’s, so I felt really big. I was in college so I had homework to keep me busy. I also worked at a little daycare doing janitorial work. So I could support myself. So this is the first time I received a taste of being an adult. It was trying sometimes, but I learned I could take care of myself.

In conclusion; people develop at different times and different places, some are late bloomers some develop the skills to adjust to being an adult quickly. They have to survive and be on their own. When I felt like a grown up was when I moved out of my parents house. I rented an apartment and paid my own bills and paid for my own groceries. I had a job and was attending college. It was a happy time. Thank you for reading.

Go for the golden lottery

What’s something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail.

Everyone dreams of living a good life, with plenty of money to go around and never have to worry about money anymore. The thought of that dream makes everyone work harder and harder, but what if it was in grasp reach and you were guaranteed not to fail. Would you do it or play it?

Yes I am talking about the Lottery. I have been playing it for years and never won anything. So, I gave up on it, but if I could guarantee that I would not fail, but win some or all the money. I would play again.

So the lottery, Powerball, Mega Millions, are what I would attempt if I was guaranteed not to fail. Now most of the time, I loose and just end up giving all the money to the state. I have probably spent hundreds on the Lottery. I have not seen a single penny because the odds of winning it are so slim, but like I said up there, I would play if I was guaranteed not to fail. Achieving music and writing

What was the hardest personal goal you’ve set for yourself?

What was the hardest personal goal you’ve set for yourself?

Many people set personal goals and achieve them with success. Others set out to achieve the same goal and face heartache because for some reason this world wants the person to work harder at the goal. Or the person doesn’t have what it takes to reach the goal. If you fall, get back up dust yourself off and try again, said by Alia. One of these days, someone will recognize you and help you achieve the goal. You have to be tenacious in your approach and maybe you can reach the goal. Just don’t give up.

The hardest goal I have tried to achieve for myself is making money with my music or lyrics or writing for a living. I like the idea of doing blogs for some money so I don’t have to be on the road all the time, doing doordash all the time. Maybe some runs but not a lot of runs. I love to write and write lyrics. I just need to find a way to make money with it. This is my hardest personal goal I have set for myself. Or maybe it is in doing a job from home. Anyways, I need to explore making money at home.

Many people want the freedom to work from home and support themselves with the money they make from just working from home. Most of the jobs out there, want you to put up money for training and you don’t know if you can make money with the job. I never put up money for these types of jobs. They could be a scam and take the money and run.

In conclusion, many people have personal goals that they reach or maybe they have to try harder to attain, but they should never give up. My personal goals are to do music and write lyrics and also have a blog where I can make some money doing it. So I don’t have to do so many runs with Doordash, but just a few. Thank you for reading this.

Artists I love

Who are your favorite artists?

Music transforms all of us. It can make you happy or sad. It is a rush sometimes and can be an emotional rollercoaster. Most people love music to dance to or to get them going and give them energy to get things done. Music is a billion dollar industry and it is not going anywhere.

Some of my favorite artists are 2pac with his rhyming rap songs. He is considered the greatest rapper of all time and his songs just make you think or make you feel good. Rest in peace 2pac.

Another one of my favorite artists is the drummer of Led Zeppelin. His name is John Bonham. He was a thunderbolt on the drums. He was incredibly talented on the drums. If you ever get the chance listen to Moby Dick. The drum solo on that track is awesome. You can see for yourself. Rest in peace John Bonham.

Another one is Jimmy Hendrix. He was incredible on the guitar. He was a singer too. He invented acid rock which later became heavy metal. He had all kinds of tricks such as playing the guitar with his mouth to lighting his guitar on fire. Voo doo child is one of his best songs. Rest in peace Jimmy Hendrix.

Another one was John Lennon. He was from the band the Beatles. He played guitar and was a singer and wrote fabulous songs such as Please Please me. Him along with Paul McCartney were the main song writers and singers. Well Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds got me through my coma. My mom used to put headphones on my head and play the song on a walkman on a tape. That song alone made me wake up from my coma. So I have mad respect for John Lennon because he wrote and sang the song. Great song, rest in peace John Lennon.

There are many more, but I will stop there. Those are the main artists I have mad respect for. Even though they may not be with us anymore, they were some of the greatest artists at what they did. Thank you for reading.
