Life w/o music

What would your life be like without music?

Life without music would be boring. I deum, play shaker, and sing and song write so if all of that disappeared it would be very disappointing to me.

I write lyrics every day, just in a notebook sometimes I can read what I wrote, but most of the time they are hard for me to read. The ideas are there that’s why I write lyrics everyday. I play drums everyday, which helps a lot with anger because I was shot in the head and now I am disabled. So I have to have an outlet to express my anger. So if there was no music I would be very angry too.

Music just makes me happy. I can be in the worst mood put on some music and it cheers me up quickly.

I listen to all sorts of music such as, 2pac to heavy metal, to jazz and r and b, Alternative, if all that music went away it would be a very sad moment.

In conclusion, I don’t care how old I get music will always be my true love from making music to listening to music it will always be with me because I don’t think anyone can take music away. It is a billion dollar industry. So I’m glad it is not going anywhere. But if it did I would not live anymore.

So lucky,

How do you celebrate holidays?

I celebrate the holidays by spending time around my younger sister. We give each other presents. She gets me a hat or maybe a scarf. I give her money because I never know what to get her. I think money is a good gift.

We eat dinner together, such as turkey, ham and pot roast. We also eat mashed potatoes with gravy and some macaroni salad, potato salad and of course green leafy salad.

Then we watch a Christmas story and laugh and have a good time. Then she goes home and that is how I spend my holidays.

Spaghetti for dinner

Write about your most epic baking or cooking fail.

Well a long time ago, when I was in highschool, I was going to cook spaghetti for my sister and I. I put water in a pot and waited for it to boil. Once it boiled, I put the spaghetti in the pot and waited eight minutes for the spaghetti to get tender. Then I put the strainer in the sink and dumped the spaghetti in the strainer, but once the spaghetti was in the strainer some of the boiling water got on my hand and burnt the heck out of my hand. The water had given me a third degree burn.

There were bubbles forming on my hand that had turned into blisters. It was quite painful. My sister called my mom and she took me to the hospital and they gave me a prescription for a cream ointment that cleared it up in a few days.

I never forget that because I was not using an oven mitt when I was pouring the spaghetti into the strainer. I was using a towel which is the problem because the hot water can soak threw the towel which gave me third degree burns.

So now I use oven mitts on both hands or else I go and get spaghetti from a restaurant because some things are better left to the professionals.

Follower made a leader

Share a lesson you wish you had learned earlier in life.

A long time ago, I used to hang out with my cousin and he would always find a way to get me in trouble. We used to start fires, steal mail, and start more fires. Once, we started a tree on fire but fortunately we had a vacuum hose to put it out. He kept hitting the fire with the vacuum hose until it eventually, was put out.

Well, back then I was a follower. Until the night I got shot in the head that woke me up and since then, I have become a leader, I no longer let people lead me into trouble.

Plus I am disabled which helps because if I walk around and do not say anything. People assume I am developmentally delayed, and leave me alone. Even though, my left arm doesn’t work and I walk with a limp. I still can talk and hold a conversation which is important. I don’t consider myself developmentally delayed.

I used to not be able to lead because of my cousin and my father being so overbearing and it was there way or the highway. Now both of them are out of my life and now I can breathe that they are gone. Leading has become easier now that they are gone.

Salads and sushi

What are your favorite types of foods?

My favorite foods are salad and sushi and Indian food such as, Aloo matar. There is a great Indian restaurant in Tucson AZ called Sheri Punjabi. They have the best Tandori Chicken I have ever eaten and Sag Paneer. That is also awesome.

Then there is suchi. I absolutely love eel. It is awesome with the sauce. There’s a restaurant in Tucson AZ called Suchi Cho that has Devine suchi. They have really good Catapilar roll that is awesome.

Let’s not forget salads. I make my own salads with romaine, tomatoes, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, purple cabbage, and this makes a great salad.

Well those are my favorite foods. I am a foodie.

Never should do more

How often do you walk or run?

I have a disability because I was shot in the head a long time ago.

As a result of that, I can’t run the traditional way. I walk with a limp, so walking is even difficult for me to do, but I should do it more often. Plus in Tucson, it is really hot so maybe walk in the evening when it cools down. Plus, where I am, there are a lot of cars driving and it is the city life so maybe wait til 6 or 7 in the evening to walk. I don’t exercise enough maybe walking will help. We will see.
