Car for work

What’s your #1 priority tomorrow?

My number one priority tomorrow is going to be getting a car so that I can support myself.

It has been a little over a month since I drove. I am a little anxious about it, but I need to survive and work hard at whatever I do. A car is one way for me to work hard and be independent. Gas in the United States is expensive so I will have to even work harder for the gas and money left over.

Many people have cars in Tucson because everything is so spread out. To get anywhere in Tucson I need to walk some distance. So it is better to have a car. So to afford to have a car I need to do Doordash, which is delivering food and other items from restaurants and stores to their homes. My other car died so I am hopefully going to receive a new car, if it all works out. I hopefully will receive a Honda Civic in God’s good graces.

Then I can pray to God that he keeps me safe on my journeys. I sprinkle God in Everything I do. I am always praying even as I drive I pray. I love God. He has been there when others have not been there for me and I am grateful that he saved my life. That is one reason I pray so much to thank him.

In conclusion, I am hopefully getting a car tomorrow so I can support myself and do Doordash. Then I will pray to God that he keeps me safe and then I will pray some more.

In what ways does hard work make you feel fulfilled?

Hard work makes me feel fulfilled by knowing that I am doing a good job. If I like the job and think the job is great then I will keep doing that certain job. I will attain certain steps to reach certain goals that I have and when I reach them. I can buy something nice for myself such as a new laptop or something along those lines.

Also, if I like the job and am dedicated to the job then it will make me want to do it more and in turn I make more money at it which is an incentive to keep working hard.

Everyone needs money and with hard work more money comes, which is one of the reasons why anyone would really want to work hard. Either it is because of certain goals they have in mind such as taking a trip, or they may be working hard to support their family. Whatever the reason it is usually because of money, so they can do something with the money. People get to the grit and work hard for a lot of different reasons, but what it boils down to is finances. No one likes to be without money because then they feel unfulfilled and depressed so to not feel that way they need to work hard and make that money.

So they can do certain things with it, such as take a trip or buy something fancy, whatever it is, it is like they work hard to achieve those goals and once they fulfill it, they set another goal so they can fulfill that goal. Goal setting is one way people work hard to achieve success at a certain skill, just keep doing the skill until it is perfect then they have that skill in their tool box and they can pull it out whenever necessary.

Hard work does pay off in the long run. If you are known for being a hard worker more people will want to hire you for a job which the more jobs you have with various experiences, it looks very good on a resume. Which it will pay off when you get the job of your dreams whatever that may be, but for one thing you can expect to work hard for that dream job.

The trait I value

What’s the trait you value most about yourself?

The trait I value the most about myself is the ability to bounce back from tough situations, which is called resilience. I was shot in the head by my cousin, lost my left arm, and walk with a limp, have a brain injury but yet I am still here because of God and my resilience.

A lot of people would have committed suicide if they were me, but not me sure there are times when I get depressed but I never go through with suicide because there has to be somewhere a better life for me. Plus it is chicken crap to commit suicide.

My love of God and my resilience will not let me commit suicide even though I have been going through a lot of challenges. I won’t give up. I need to bounce back and make a tough life into a piece of cake and be a truly resilient, which I know I can.

If money was not an issue.

List three jobs you’d consider pursuing if money didn’t matter.

The three jobs I would do if money was not an issue.

First, I would go to all the open mics in Tucson. I would perform in front an audience with my shaker and I sing, not great but passible. This is a great passion of mine to perform. I used to do it when I worked as a Teacher’s assistant. I have to do Door dash, which is fun and helps me pay for my car, but it would be great to go again and perform.

Second, I would work at a day care and work with the children. I like to do arts and crafts a little and I like to play games with them such as cards, and candyland is cool also.

Third, I would work at a homeless shelter. I could attend meetings with the people there or talk and provide resources to people, such as how to get on Social security, or how to get a food box . Or I could even be a listening ear and listen to people’s concerns.

In conclusion, I discussed the three jobs I would do if money was not an issue. They are going to open mics, work at a daycare with children. I would also like to work at a homeless shelter. Thank you for reading this.

God is forever

What aspects of your cultural heritage are you most proud of or interested in?

The aspect of my cultural heritage that I am most proud of or interested in is my love for God.

I am American, Italian, Spanish, and Mexican so I was raised Roman Catholic. Both of my parents were Roman Catholic, so I grew up praying Rosaries and today I still pray Rosaries. We also used to go to church, but now I don’t go to church because of the many priests sexually assaulting little boys. I do not condon to that so I will never allow myself to attend church again, that is my decision.

I love God and Jesus Christ and I pray my Rosary everyday, but I can’t go back to the church knowing what some of those priests did to little boys and possibly little girls that is sick. The little kids are in the confession rooms to get their sins absolved and a priest molests them that is terrifying. There is no reason for such crude behavior. I know they all got charged, but there might still be some of them out there, which is horrible. Those poor kids who went through that, it is awful.

Another thing I am proud of from my cultural heritage is my love of Mexican and Italian food such as tacos, enchiladas, tamales, spaghetti, meatballs, and lasagna. It is all really good and when we have family gatherings we all feast on tacos, enchiladas, tortillas and maybe some beans it is good.

The family gatherings are another part of my heritage not so much now but when I was younger. We all used to gather at my grandma’s house and sit around and listen to my grandpa play Mexican music on the guitar and sing. Some of us would sing along with my grandpa. It was a good time. He has passed away God rest his soul, but I will always remember him for that. He was a kindred spirit.

In conclusion; I discussed my cultural heritage, which is my love for God for most, my religion which is Roman Catholic. I pray Rosaries and I don’t go to church. My love of Italian and Mexican food and the family gathering around my grandpa’s guitar. Those were good times.

What brands do you associate with?

Introduction:

In this article I will discuss brands that I associate with. Brands are companies that make a certain item. I associate with a lot of brands from the smartphone I type on, to what I wear, to what I eat, to what drink, and to what drums I play. Everything has a brand.

I am typing on a Google 6a smartphone, which is a brand. I also own a Samsung 10e smartphone, which is another brand.

I wear a lot of brands such as Levi’s pants, Guess shirts, Nike shoes, or Reebok shoes, and Tommy Hilfiger shirts.

I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. The one brand that sticks out is Dole bananas. Also, Dole makes salads so there is another brand. I eat out a lot so brands such as Popeyes, chicken sandwich, Dunkin donuts, coffee, Subway, sandwiches, and Philbertoes, burritos, and Taco Bell, tacos, Suchi Cho, suchi, and Sheri Punjab, Tandori Chicken.

I drink bottled water which also comes with it’s brands such as Sam’s club water, Fiji water, Smart water, Evian water, Core water, and Iceland water. They are all good brands of water.

My drums also have a brand ,it is Tama. My cymbals also have a brand ,Sabian . I also have a Zildjian hi hat. I play my drum set with Pro Mark Drum sticks. It is a lot of fun.

In conclusion, Everything has a brand it is the company that made the product. I deal with a lot of brands, such as my smartphones, what I wear, to what I eat, to what I drink, and finally to my drums. If you do anything with a certain item, I am sure it will have a brand.

Be a fighter instead of a sleeper.

What could you do more of?

What I could do more of. I could get out of the house and work more or just take a walk.

I am disabled from being shot in the head with a gun. I make too many excuses not to go on walks or do more work. I walk with a limp and my left arm doesn’t function so I can only use my right hand. See I don’t know my own potential in how I can work more. I would love to make money and possibly work more outside the house but I am limited in what I can do.

I should probably write more because that is my passion. When I get a good cup of coffee in me the words just flow out a lot easier. I should be able to turn my passion of writing into a job which would be cool. Then I would have a job and then I could go on walks when I felt like it.

I play music maybe that could be something too. I play drums and write lyrics which is something I do every day. I need to do it more often possibly. That is a passion also I don’t have a great voice but I sing too. I had a lot of bad things happen to me so I need to get them out and music is the way I do that and writing.

In conclusion, I need to write more and write lyrics more maybe one day it will turn into a job or something I need to have faith. Thank you for reading this

One basket,

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I ever got was don’t put your eggs in one basket. It means don’t count on one way to do something. In this life it is much better to have multiple ways to get to the same result. It is much better if you or I have many different options to get to the same thing.

Such as life, if you are holding onto one option and it falls through then you have nothing. Take this advice for multiple things in your life, having many choices is much better than one choice, just in case that one thing falls through, then you can move on to other options, now this is better than the other way of doing things.

The coffee experience

What things give you energy?

Coffee gives me energy. I can drink it all day or night. I just take little sips here or there all day or night. This may sound gross but I drink it black because it doesn’t have the sugar effect, which I come crashing down and get tired.

I usually drink it in the afternoon, where I will have a big cup of coffee.

Then I have like two other cups of coffee in the refrigerator and I sip on them all through the week, until they are gone.

Drinking coffee makes me more creative because it speeds up my brain maybe dopamine. I feel excited and I feel good like I want to accomplish a lot. It lasts only a couple hours though. I can go to sleep on coffee. All I have to do is brush my teeth and then I nod off to sleep.

Another food that gives me energy is salad and apples. Salads wake up my weary mind and make me focus on the task at hand.

I cut the apple in half. I eat one half and go back to sleep. While the other half of the apple amps me up and keeps me awake for a long time, especially if I drink coffee with it.

In conclusion, all three of these items give me energy so I can write, play drums, sing, read, and overall have a productive life, especially working too. I would be lost without coffee, apples, and salad.
