What’s something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail.
Everyone dreams of living a good life, with plenty of money to go around and never have to worry about money anymore. The thought of that dream makes everyone work harder and harder, but what if it was in grasp reach and you were guaranteed not to fail. Would you do it or play it?
Yes I am talking about the Lottery. I have been playing it for years and never won anything. So, I gave up on it, but if I could guarantee that I would not fail, but win some or all the money. I would play again.
So the lottery, Powerball, Mega Millions, are what I would attempt if I was guaranteed not to fail. Now most of the time, I loose and just end up giving all the money to the state. I have probably spent hundreds on the Lottery. I have not seen a single penny because the odds of winning it are so slim, but like I said up there, I would play if I was guaranteed not to fail. Many people set personal goals and achieve them with success. Others set out to achieve the same goal and face heartache because for some reason this world wants the person to work harder at the goal. Or the person doesn’t have what it takes to reach the goal. If you fall, get back up dust yourself off and try again, said by Alia. One of these days, someone will recognize you and help you achieve the goal. You have to be tenacious in your approach and maybe you can reach the goal. Just don’t give up.
The hardest goal I have tried to achieve for myself is making money with my music or lyrics or writing for a living. I like the idea of doing blogs for some money so I don’t have to be on the road all the time, doing doordash all the time. Maybe some runs but not a lot of runs. I love to write and write lyrics. I just need to find a way to make money with it. This is my hardest personal goal I have set for myself. Or maybe it is in doing a job from home. Anyways, I need to explore making money at home.
Many people want the freedom to work from home and support themselves with the money they make from just working from home. Most of the jobs out there, want you to put up money for training and you don’t know if you can make money with the job. I never put up money for these types of jobs. They could be a scam and take the money and run.
In conclusion, many people have personal goals that they reach or maybe they have to try harder to attain, but they should never give up. My personal goals are to do music and write lyrics and also have a blog where I can make some money doing it. So I don’t have to do so many runs with Doordash, but just a few. Music transforms all of us. It can make you happy or sad. It is a rush sometimes and can be an emotional rollercoaster. Most people love music to dance to or to get them going and give them energy to get things done. Music is a billion dollar industry and it is not going anywhere.
Some of my favorite artists are 2pac with his rhyming rap songs. He is considered the greatest rapper of all time and his songs just make you think or make you feel good. Rest in peace 2pac.
Another one of my favorite artists is the drummer of Led Zeppelin. His name is John Bonham. He was a thunderbolt on the drums. He was incredibly talented on the drums. If you ever get the chance listen to Moby Dick. The drum solo on that track is awesome. You can see for yourself. Rest in peace John Bonham.
Another one is Jimmy Hendrix. He was incredible on the guitar. He was a singer too. He invented acid rock which later became heavy metal. He had all kinds of tricks such as playing the guitar with his mouth to lighting his guitar on fire. Voo doo child is one of his best songs. Rest in peace Jimmy Hendrix.
Another one was John Lennon. He was from the band the Beatles. He played guitar and was a singer and wrote fabulous songs such as Please Please me. Him along with Paul McCartney were the main song writers and singers. Well Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds got me through my coma. My mom used to put headphones on my head and play the song on a walkman on a tape. That song alone made me wake up from my coma. So I have mad respect for John Lennon because he wrote and sang the song. Great song, rest in peace John Lennon.

Drumming is my favorite hobby or pastime.
What is your favorite hobby or pastime?
Many people enjoy hobbies and pastimes Some of my favorite hobbies are singing, writing and drumming. It is hard for me to choose one . I do all of them everyday or else I get moody. Drumming eases my anger. Writing helps me focus on the day. Singing just makes me feel better.
I would much rather write then speak at an event or to a class. For some reason it is easier for me to sing to a crowd than to speak to a crowd. I know that is weird but it is true.
I used to have to publicly speak for my degree in Social Work. What I did is just read the speech to my class that worked out fine. It was not my favorite thing to do but I got it done.
Singing is the way I express my anger. I have a lot of anger because I was shot in the head. It needs to come out so I sing. It makes me more relaxed.
Writing is the tool I use to develop the lyrics that I sing. I sing original material because I don’t sound like anyone else so I make up lyrics. The drums are what I use to sing my lyrics on. So I sing and play drums at the same time. This is my hobby one cannot happen without the other. Thank you for reading.
What would you do if you lost all your possessions?
Belongings are very personal thing. If I lost everything I would have wish I received renters insurance., but in a world where anything can happen. It is a reality. I would be very sad and possibly yell at the sky for my things wwwwwhhhhyyyyy!
Now I have to start from scratch and rebuild my belongings. I would have to get in more debt with my credit cards. The first thing I would get is a drum set because I cannot survive without one. I have too much anger. Then a bed and a pad of paper to write. Also, a smartphone to type on and write some more. Hopefully my apartment would still be there so I can just get more things, but if it was not there anymore, i would have to get a new place to live which would be tough, thanks to inflation being out of control. I would probably stay at a motel until I could get into an apartment because being disabled I cannot be on the streets. I am vulnerable.
Once I had those things taken care of, such as an apartment, a drum set, a pad of paper, a smartphone, and a bed, life could go back to normal and of course food. Down the road, I could get a table and a microwave and some chairs. Then I am really set.
This writing made me really evaluate the possibility of loosing everything. I may have to start pricing renters insurance. Thank you for reading.
What’s a topic or issue about which you’ve changed your mind?
I changed my mind about abortion. When I was much younger, I used to think that abortions were wrong and no one should kill a baby. As I grew older, I decided it is not up to me, it is up to the mother and maybe her spouse and a doctor. Whatever a woman does with her body is up to her ultimately.
Who am I to get mad because a woman wants an abortion. There are many reasons why women get abortions, such as finances. Maybe they cannot afford a child Or it may not be the right time to have one. Or they are not maternal and don’t want the responsibility of a child. Or maybe they do not want to be a single parent because that is hard. Maybe they want to focus on their career or college; whatever the reason I support the woman. She has her reasons for not having the child. So I am prochoice whatever the mom wants is good for me.
Now I wish in America they saw it the way I see it because they revoked Roe v. Wade means in some states like Ohio,women only have six weeks to have an abortion. Or they have to have the baby. Or they have to go to Illinois to have the abortion. In Indiana, it is worse, there is a complete ban on abortions which is terrible unless it is a danger to the women’s health or rape or incest. I guess that is good, but again if the women do not want the baby they must go to Illinois for an abortion.
It is totally political. The Republicans don’t want to pay for abortions so they take away Roe v Wade. Now Democrats, are prochoice like me. States that are democrat you can get abortions in such as Illinois or California. States that are Republican you cannot or for a limited time such as Indiana or Ohio and Arizona. I really wish the Supreme Court justices, especially the men could get pregnant and see for themselves what a pain in the butt it is to be pregnant. Then they would see what they have done.
I am glad to be prochoice because I don’t have time to be holding up signs at plan parenthood saying I am against abortion. It is such crap. It is a woman’s body she should be able to do what she wants with the baby. The government is not going to raise the child, unless she abused the child, but even then foster parents or adopted parents raise the child. It is her life. I think the government needs to enact Roe v. Wade again, so things can go back to the way they used to be.
In conclusion, I discussed the abortion law in America after they revoked Roe v. Wade, which is a way for the Republicans not to pay for abortions. I discussed that I am prochoice and that I support the woman and whatever she does with her body is up to her. I wish the Supreme Court was also prochoice but they are pro-life. So the woman has to have the baby even if she doesn’t want the baby, unless she goes to another state, such as Illinois. That is crap. I also discussed, they should re-enact Roe v Wade again. A long time ago, when I was in college for my bachelor’s in Social work. I was going to Arizona State University for social workers in Tucson AZ. It was spring break and I had a wild plan to go to Los Angeles, just to chill. So I drove from Tucson AZ to Los Angeles California.
Back then, I was a huge gym buff. I would go to Gold’s gym almost everyday. I got a card to use the Gold’s gym in Los Angeles California. I ended up at the Gold’s gym in Hollywood California.
I checked into the Days inn and the next day, I went to Gold’s gym. Figure I was in good shape, but most of the guys there were in awesome shape. They were huge with big muscles and six packs for stomachs.
Figure, I am disabled working out with one arm, lifting dumbbells with only my right hand, which is embarrassing. All the guys there would work out both arms and their legs ,or whatever muscle group they felt like working out that day.
So you can say I felt really out of place there, so thank God I only went there for a weekend because everyone there would look at me weird. So this is the time I felt out of place thank you for reading.
Your life without a computer: what does it look like?
Business and homes
Computers are used by many at home and in businesses. They are used for many things such as finances and computing different equations, to using the Internet. Plus, different programs and games. Life without computers would be a lot harder. People would have to go back to writing things on paper, and doctor offices would have to go back to the filing system, where people’s whole life was in a written file. Agencies rely on the computer too. They would have to go back to files too. So they could not just open up a computer and pull a file on a computer. They would now have a physical document and have to write in it. They would write progress notes and plans all by hand again. If you are a doctor forget trying to read their handwriting. It is very difficult. So if there was not any computers many companies and businesses would not be able to function. Or they would have to function at a lot slower pace.
Invention of the computer
Any job that is up and coming or is technical will rely on the computer. Schools also rely on the computer. Teachers don’t want to deal with students with bad handwriting so they get computers, so students can do their school work on them.
Without computers
Life would be simpler and more of a paper mess. Instead of storing information on a computer, people would have to go back to writing everything out and storing the information in lock desks or filing cabinets.
Me
Life for me without a computer would stay the same because I can basically do everything I need to do with my smartphone. Sure the screen is not as big but I do fine typing on a smartphone. It is a lot more practical for me because the screen is smaller and it is easier to type with one hand.
In conclusion; I talked about life without a computer. Businesses and homes would have to go back to handwriting everything. Instead of pulling a client’s file on the computer, they would have a physical document and a physical file. I also discussed that life would be a paper mess, where people would have to store their files in a locked cabinet. I also discussed my life would remain the same because I use smartphones because it is more practical for me. Thank you for reading this.
Learning skills are inevitable and to get ahead in your job and in life, you need to learn new skills. Such as listening to better or uplifting people or using therapeutic techniques such as motivational therapy or cognitive therapy. I would like to know more about these skills, but like I said in other writing I have to go where the money is because I have to support myself.
One skill that is necessary for me to master is the ability to type with one hand. There are plenty of people that have mastered this skill. I need to spend more time on this skill. I know there are voice recognition programs for typing, but typing is better. I do have a degree in Social work, but because of my disability and I am a slow typist. I am unable to use it. I need a slow paced environment, which I don’t have time to look for in Tucson, so the degree just collects dust in my closet.
It has been a long time since I graduated so I would have to take refresher courses because a lot has changed. Right now, making money is very important because of bills that keep piling up. My car is very expensive so I need to pay that every month. Doordash allows me to pay for my car so I am sticking with that for now .
In conclusion, I talked about how skills are necessary to get ahead in your job or even in life. I would like to know more about cognitive and motivational therapeutic techniques. I would also like to learn to type with one hand., but for now I will stick with Doordash because I have to make money.
What details of your life could you pay more attention to?
Busy:
Everyone is busy with whatever they are doing, let it be school, college or just working. We all need to support ourselves. We all need to work to pay bills.
Work
We get lost in work and start working more hours because of fulfillment or maybe the money is good. Whatever the reason, we loose track of other things in our lives that bring us joy. In order to do these things we must orchestrate our time better so we can do these things.
Plan
We may have to put aside fifteen minutes a day to do something we really like to do. Then we can assess whether we can do this. If we don’t do this, we will get burned out and be negative in our lives. In order not to feel this way, we must decide to do something that makes us happy.
Happy place
Everyone is different, but my happy place is writing and playing music with my drums. This is what makes me happy. So I put some time aside to do these things.
Been neglecting
I have been putting off writing about the injury I sustained when I was younger. It is painful. One day I will write about the whole thing, just so I can get it out of me. Heck I might make it into a book. Then everyone can read it.
