Not enough!

What have you been working on?

Introduction- in a fast paced world you always have to have things to be working on, to make your situation better or to have some fun doing certain activities.

I have been working on writing more and digging deep into my past and trying to make sense why the cousin shot me in the head. The only answer I got was because he was jealous of me. Sure he said it was an accident, but then why did he lie and said I shot myself in the head. I guess because he was afraid to go to prison, which he certainly belonged there. He is a criminal. I feel my family supported him more than me because they didn’t put him in prison when I woke up and told them that he shot me in the head. Well, I will ponder this question a little more then, write on what I discovered later.

Other things I have been working on is my job doing doordash, delivering food to people with my sister. It is somewhat challenging when the map doesn’t lead me to the right address, as long as it is in the vicinity I am good because we can find the house. It also is not any good when the customer doesn’t put on their porch lights because accidents happen like falls and that isn’t good. Thank goodness everyone put on their porch lights today, yes!

In conclusion, in a fast paced world we all have things that we are working on toward certain goals. I have been pondering why my cousin shot me in the head and I came up with that he was jealous. Even though he said it was an accident, then why did he lie and say I shot myself. I can guess and say he didn’t want to go to prison. The other thing I am working on is doordash, delivering food to people. Thank you for reading.

What is my injury!

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

Introduction- in this blog, we are going to discuss what most people do not know about me. They see me walking with a limp and my left arm on top of my stomach, but not many know why I am like this.

Some ask, but many guess cerebral palsy, which is incorrect because then I would have been born with the injury. Cerebral palsy is a condition that affects movement and posture. It is a result of a damaged brain in utero.

I am not open with my disability in Tucson. Many do not know that I have a traumatic brain injury, due to being shot in the head when I was 13 years old.

Many people also do not know that I didn’t receive any justice for the injury. My family let the cousin who shot me in the head just get away with it. No money from him or his family or he did not go to the juvenile detention center, which he certainly belonged there. I am still mad at my mom and dad for this. I cannot see them.

The reason why is because he lied and said I shot myself in the head and everyone believed him because I was in a coma. Even though, I would have probably not been here if I shot myself in the head.

When I awoke from the coma, I told my dad , the cousin shot me in the head, but nothing came of it. It worked out to his benefit. He just walked. No court no nothing. No consequences. It was a drag for me. I was on medication so I could not talk, or walk. I had to relearn to do everything. I felt like I was reborn again, but I learned to do most things myself and I am still learning to do things for myself.

In conclusion, I went over that not very many people know about my disability, which is a traumatic brain injury. I was shot in the head when I was 13 years old. Also, not very many people know that I didn’t receive any justice for the injury. My family just let the cousin walk away from the injury like nothing happened. No court date, no money, no juvenile detention center. It was screwed up. He got to live a normal life, while I had to relearn to do everything again, such as talking and walking and wiping my butt. There are still many things for me to learn, but I will learn them day by day. Thank you for reading.

Lazy to rested to unproductive

Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?

Introduction- in this blog I will assess whether lazy days make me feel rested or unproductive.

Well I work six days out of the week doing doordash, just for a few hours a day, but if there are a lot of runs I may do more hours. I do Doordash with my sister because it is a lot better to have two heads doing it than one. The only day I take off is Friday, which is not a lazy or unproductive day because I do surveys and sometimes make an extra $20. So I never have a day where I lay in bed all day. All my days are productive as long as I have a car, but even when I was out of work, I still did surveys. So I guess on lazy days I feel rested because I am still productive making money somehow.

In conclusion, I discussed that even on lazy days I am productive. Plus, I work part-time doing doordash six days a week, then I take off Friday, but even on that day I am doing surveys so everyday is productive and somehow I am making money. Thank you for reading.

Elon Musk

When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?

Introduction: Today we are going to talk about someone I think is the most successful person and why.

Elon Musk is the founder of Spacex, which is space exploration technology Corp. It is also a spacecraft manufacturer, launch service provider, defense contractor and satellite communications company. The goal of the company is to reduce space transportation costs and colonize Mars.

Elon Musk is a CEO, product architect and former chairman of Tesla. Tesla manufactures electric vehicles, cars and trucks. He is also the chief technology officer of X formerly Twitter social media site.

I measure success by money and he is worth $232 billion and is the richest person in the world, thanks mostly because of Tesla and SpaceX.

In conclusion: Elon Musk is the person I think of when I hear the word successful because of Tesla and SpaceX, they have made him $232 billion. Thank you for reading.

Good neighbor

What makes a good neighbor?

Introduction; in this blog I am going to examine what makes a good neighbor. Good neighbors can be anyone as long as they respect you and are not rude and inconsiderate.

Respect* there has to be respect for your stuff and respect for your time and respect to be quiet late at night.

Not being noisy* Good neighbors do not throw noisy parties late at night, unless they inform other residents in the area that they are going to be having a party. It is all about respect.

Friendly and considerate* they must be friendly and considerate so that we can get along living in the same area as each other. It could be anything friendly, such as a hello to a head nod, just as long as it isn’t a frowny face.

Empathetic* they have to be empathetic, to walk in your shoes and see what they are doing, such as listening to loud Mexican music is wrong and they turn it off.

Caring* they care about your well-being and do not cause any harm to you, such as stab you, or steal your stuff.

Not annoying* they are not annoying and just know when to leave you alone and do not pester you to do things for them, such as borrowing sugar or borrowing money.

In conclusion, I went over things that make up a good neighbor, such as respect, not being nosey, friendly and considerate, empathetic, caring, and not annoying. I am sure there may be more, but this is a short list of them. Thank you for reading.

So much to try

What could you try for the first time?

Introduction; people all over try food or go to places or try playing instruments for the first time and many more things, they try for the first time. In this blog I will discuss what I would try for the first time.

I love Indian cuisine so I would try Paratha, which is flaky, layered, golden brown Indian bread. I would have them put potato and cauliflower in the Paratha.

Indian food, I would  also like to try is Makhani, which is a mushroom dish. Indian food is one of the best types of cuisines because of the way they  prepare the food. They use Tumeric and Cumin spices, which are very good for your body.

In conclusion, I would like to try Indian dishes Paratha and Makhani. Indian food is one of the healthiest foods you can eat. Thank you for reading.

Principles that define me.

What principles define how you live?

Introduction; in this blog I will be discussing principles and how they define how I live?

First principal, is do unto others that you would do to yourself. This is the golden rule. Christ said this and I live by it for the most part. For example, I would never intentionally hit a person with my car. So I expect others not to do the same to me.

Another one, is to treat others with respect, even if they get on your last nerve, still treat them with respect and kindness. As long as I am being respectful, they cannot say I am being disrespectful.

Another one, do not lie to people. If you do not like people to lie to you then maybe you should not lie to them.

Another one, is to empathize with people. I put myself in others shoes and really try to look at life from their perspective.

Have compassion for people and really try to listen to them and don’t interrupt them, just let them speak freely and just listen to them. This is what I do a lot of.

Here is another one, know your strengths and weaknesses. This is one I have to work at, since now I am disabled and it is hard for me to tell my strengths and weaknesses, but I am getting better at it.

Another one is don’t blame others for something that is your fault. Now I can definitely blame my cousin for shooting me in the head, but I cannot blame him for where I live or what I eat, but you know in a way it is his fault. I would be able to do much more if he had not shot me in the head and made me disabled.

Another one, is to take time to play. Everyday I play my drums. I feel better doing that because I am letting go of the anger in my heart. I am most happy playing my drums.

In conclusion, I went over the principals that define how I live; such as the golden rule “Do unto others that you would do to yourself.” Treat others with respect. Don’t lie to people. Empathize with people. Be compassionate and really listen to people. Know your strengths and weaknesses. Don’t blame others for things that are your fault. Lastly, have fun and play. Putting off for another day!

What have you been putting off doing? Why?

Introduction: in this blog, I will be talking about what I have been putting off doing. People put off doing things for a number of reasons. Some are that they are procrastinators, or too busy to do the things they need to do. Or, their life is such a mess that they need help organizing their lives. Organization is one of those things that everyone can use assistance in.

I moved recently and still have not moved in all the way. When I moved I didn’t realize how much stuff I had. I have a lot of clothes, DVDs, and cds. I have to go through a lot of things before I can get settled in my new apartment. Plus, this apartment is smaller than where I was living before, but I am making it work. I just need to be more organized.

The reason I put it off is because I need to work to make money for the car I have. Plus, I come home late and the last thing I want to do is to organize my stuff. I get tired easily, but one of these days I will get my place in order. I just have to do it little by little.

In conclusion; I discussed the reasons why people put things off, such as being too busy, they are procrastinators and wait til the last minute to get things done. Or their life is such a mess that they need help organizing things. I also discussed that I moved recently and need to organize things, such as DVDs, cds, and clothes. I also went over the reason why I put it off because I have to work to keep the car I drive. I have to pay payments on the car. One of these days I will get organized little by little. Thank you very much for reading this.

On my own

When was the first time you really felt like a grown up (if ever)?

Introduction; this blog is about the first time I really felt like a grown up. Well, many people develop into a grown up at different times and different places in their lives. It is a matter of taking responsibility for your own life. Being a grown up means not depending on others for your life. You have complete control over your own life and you pay your own bills. You can make decisions for yourself.

When I realized I was a grown up was when I was 23 years old. I moved out of my parents house and rented my own apartment. I paid the rent and the electricity in the apartment. I would also buy my own groceries at Fry’s, so I felt really big. I was in college so I had homework to keep me busy. I also worked at a little daycare doing janitorial work. So I could support myself. So this is the first time I received a taste of being an adult. It was trying sometimes, but I learned I could take care of myself.

In conclusion; people develop at different times and different places, some are late bloomers some develop the skills to adjust to being an adult quickly. They have to survive and be on their own. When I felt like a grown up was when I moved out of my parents house. I rented an apartment and paid my own bills and paid for my own groceries. I had a job and was attending college. It was a happy time. Thank you for reading.

Million dollar baby

If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to?

A million dollars is a lot of money. I would be very careful who I would give money to. I would probably want to feed all the children in Tucson who go hungry every night. I would want to give a little to the homeless population and maybe make bathrooms available all night. So they don’t have to use the bathroom on the street, or in back of businesses.

Then I would give a big chunk of the money to my sister because she has had a really tough life. Being from a divorced family was tough on both of us, especially my sister. She was very young. My mom was not very stable. We moved a lot. Close to a million dollars would make her happy and she would not have to worry about money anymore. Thank you for reading.
