But now no, I am good

Are there any activities or hobbies you’ve outgrown or lost interest in over time?

In this blog, I will divulge what hobbies or activities I have outgrown or lost interest in over time.

A long time ago, when I was about 12 before I received the bullet in the head. I used to love to swim. We had a pool back then in our backyard. Swimming was my favorite activity to do. I was quite good at it. I once found my father’s ring at the bottom of the deep end.

Then, I received a bullet to the head by the cousin. I have an injury to my left dominant arm and walk with a limp. So swimming is out of the question. I tried a few times during my late teens and twenties and it was too tough to do. Swimming with one arm is really rough.

Now, I do go to the Jacuzzi which is great for warming up and relaxing, but that is it. No swimming for me anymore. Thank you for reading.

A candy with no sugar

What’s your favorite candy?

This dark chocolate bar has no sugar. It is a little dull, but it is good for you.

In this blog I will discuss my favorite type of candy. It is a Lindt dark chocolate bar because it has little to no sugar.

Dark chocolate lowers the risk of heart disease, reduces inflammation, increases the diversity of gut microbiome, and helps brain function.

Sure, dark chocolate does not taste as good as Hershey’s chocolate, but in the long run. It is better for you.

Sugar puts me to sleep, so I have to monitor it very carefully. Dark chocolate still may make me a little sleepy, that is why I eat it close to bedtime. Thank you for reading.

Vacation please!!

Do you need a break? From what?

Yes I need a break from work and life. I just need to get out of Tucson for a little bit and go somewhere different, just for a weekend or so. Maybe, go to Wilcox AZ and pick some apples and eat some apple pie. Or I can collect squash and chilies.

Yes I have not taken a vacation in a long time. That is the only break I need. I work part-time and I work six days a week. So it is not too hard. It is just a lot of wear and tear on the car I drive, so I don’t work a lot. Thank you for reading.

Personal computers

The most important invention in your lifetime is…

In this blog I will discuss the most important invention in my lifetime. There have been a lot of inventions in my lifetime, such as the internet, social media, digital cameras, mobile phones. Without the invention of the personal computers i.e. desktops or laptops they would not exist.

The Atari 8800 was the first personalized computer in 1974. Then in 1981, the IBM PC came out, in which it evolved into laptops, tablets, and mobile phones we utilize today.

So in conclusion, the personal computer was the most important invention in my lifetime. Thank you for reading.

Eating, drumming, singing, more coffee,

Describe your most ideal day from beginning to end.

My ideal day, is when I can get up at about 12 PM because then it is not so cold in my apartment. Then, I make coffee and eat a salad and an apple.

After that, I play my drums and sing for an hour or so. Then I eat a pear and drink some more coffee and I play my drums some more and sing.

Then I write a lyric and I write it over and over until it is stuck in my head. After that, I play my drums and sing the lyrics I just wrote. I usually write very easy lyrics to remember. Most of the time they rhyme.

After that, I read the Internet for a few hours. Then, I pray a rosary to God. Then I take a shower and get dressed and work on Doordash for a couple hours.

Then I eat dinner and drink more coffee and a little water and eat a banana and eat nuts. Then, I watch a movie like Escape from New York with Kurt Russell.

Then, I write the daily prompt on Jetpack. Then I brush my teeth and shave and I go to bed, in peace. Thank you for reading.

Life is tough

How do significant life events or the passage of time influence your perspective on life?

In this blog, I will discuss how significant life events or the passage of time influence my perspective on life. Well, life is tough no matter who you are. Sometimes being bitter and angry at life is not necessary, but take a different approach and think positive and be happy, that you lived through the issue at hand.

Life hands us a bunch of circumstances and we can react with anger or take it in stride and be calm and deal with life events. A lot of the issue is how you react to life events.

Sometimes life events are happy and joyful, such as the graduation of your children. Be proud of their accomplishments because the prouder you are of them, the greater their accomplishments will be. Well, we hope it works that way.

I have learned that if I’m calm and deal with life events. They go much better. All you have to do is be flexible and roll with the pinches.

No matter what life throws at us, you will get through life events.

This works with getting older too, just roll with the punches and be flexible and don’t get down because you cannot do what you used to do. Things happen and just accept your life as it is today.

I am disabled and I have two choices. I can either live with it or die and I choose to live. Even though, I am half the man I used to be (Scott Wilend of Stone Temple pilots) living in greater than death because once you die you cannot make any decisions on nothing. You have no voice. So living is greater than dying. Some people are really depressed and die it is sad, that they do that.

The great musicians that have gone down that road like Kurt Cobian of Nirvana. He was a great musician who could not deal with his inner demons so he committed suicide. Lane Staly of Alice and chains great talent went to waste. So if anyone on here is depressed because of life events, talk to someone. Life is much better with you here.

Something leads to nothing getting done.

Something on your “to-do list” that never gets done.

Hi, I am going to discuss something on my to-do list that never gets done, like many other people, I work and when I get home. The last thing I want to do is clean my apartment. Yes I will admit. The maid has been on vacation for a long time, which is me. Probably, what would help is some coffee and cleaning supplies. I could use some organization.

I mop the floors every day and even clean the toilet a lot of the time. I even wipe down the counters in the kitchen, but beyond that it is an uphill battle. My place isn’t that messy. There are a lot of things that could be thrown away or moved to another place.

So cleaning is still on my to-do list because when I get home from work. I am beat, but it is true. A little coffee goes a long way. Also starting incrementally will be the best approach because small steps will equal big steps. Thank you for reading.

Italian food

What’s your favorite thing to cook?

In this blog, I will discuss my favorite thing to cook. I used to cook a lot, but these days. I go out to eat a lot because of the messes cooking makes. I go out to Popeyes and get a chicken sandwich or go to Subway and get a veggie sandwich. Or even go to Filibertos to get a burrito.

My favorite thing to cook is Spaghetti with red sauce and truffle in the sauce. It is easy to make, just boil the spaghetti and put the red sauce with truffle on it and I am done.

I am also Italian so it fits really well with me. I love all sorts of food, but cooking I need to cook something easy and as long as I don’t burn myself getting the spaghetti out of the pot. I am great.

In conclusion, I like to cook Spaghetti with red sauce and truffle. Thank you for reading.

My first computer.

Write about your first computer.

In this blog, I will write about my first computer. I received my first computer because I needed it for college papers.

In 2003, I bought an e-machine computer for about $1800 dollars. I bought it here in Tucson, at Silo electric store. It has closed down for good.

At the time of 2003, it was very fast. The computer was in my room. I had the works. It was a desktop computer. It had a monitor and mouse. I also had a printer for it, to print out the papers I wrote out. The computer was top notch for the time.

I was living with my parents back then, so my dad put AOL (Americans On-line). Every night after my dad got off of work he would go into my room and look at AOL. I would have to get up early and my dad would be using AOL on my computer. Sometimes, it got annoying because he would wake me up out of a sound sleep. So eventually, I ended up moving out and took the computer with me. He eventually bought another computer and he helped me buy another computer because the e-machine was becoming obsolete. It would screw up a lot. It eventually got too many viruses on it, but it worked great throughout my bachelor’s in social work degree. I think I lost it in the moving process so that is my first computer. Thank you for reading.

The thing I’m scared of

What’s the thing you’re most scared to do? What would it take to get you to do it?

In this blog, I will delve into things I am most scared of. People are scared of a bunch of things and so am I, such as moving to cities I don’t know anyone in and be an outsider for a while.

The thing that would make me move to another city is if I could find a job in that city using my bachelor’s degree in social work. It is a long shot but maybe one of these days I may do it.

Another thing that would make me move to another city is if Tucson’s crime gets worse or the music scene is better in that city.

In America, Los Angeles is the city for music, but it is really expensive and crowded. So I think I will stay put for now.

In conclusion, the thing I am most scared of doing is moving to another city. The thing that would get me to move to another city, would be if I could use my bachelor’s degree in Social work. Another thing would be if Tucson’s crime spiked, or if the music scene is better. Thank you for reading.
