This salad had romaine, tomatoes, mini brussel sprouts, purple cabbage, black pepper, lemon seasoning, garlic salt, red pepper flakes, and hot cayenne dressing. This was a great salad for dinner.
In conclusion-the first thing that came to my mind was a salad. Thank you for reading.
Describe a random encounter with a stranger that stuck out positively to you.
In this blog, I will describe a random encounter with a stranger that stuck out positively to me. There are many, such as holding the door open for me to walk in a store. Or, when, I am at the store and I am only going to buy one item and the person lets me go first because they have many items to buy.
When I am doing Doordash and I cannot find an address. Then, a stranger points out where an address is and they are correct.
These little acts of kindness are very positive and stick out in my mind as I write this blog. Thank you for reading.
Describe a decision you made in the past that helped you learn or grow.
In this blog, I will discuss a decision I made in the past that helped me learn or grow. A decision I made to work and learn to handle my own money and be able to support myself without anybody else trying to control my money.
I am disabled so having a payee (person who controls my money) is a reality for me, but with money management skills and trying to keep my head above water with debt. I have managed to acquire some debt, but hopefully I am able to pay it off one of these days.
I have made mistakes and for them I need to work a little harder so I can put more money towards my debt, before it gets really big and costs a lot more money.
In conclusion- the decision I made is to work and learn to handle my own money, so I can be self sufficient and not have to get a payee. Thank you for reading.
What place in the world do you never want to visit? Why?
In this blog I will discuss what place in the world, I never want to visit. This place is pretty bad. People I know have come to the United States from this country. It is in central America and a street gang called MS-13 operates there. They cause a bunch of violence there. I have not been there, but I know the gangs are there. They do human and drug trafficking and I cannot be mixed up in that business.
In conclusion- I will never visit El Salvador because of the violent street gangs there. These gangs kill civilians, police officers, soldiers, and themselves. So I am better off in the United States. Thank you for reading.
Describe a positive thing a family member has done for you.
In this blog, I will discuss a positive thing a family member does for me.
My youngest sister does Doordash with me so that I am not over burdened by taking the food or the items to the door. See I drive her to the home or apartment we need to deliver the food or items to. She brings the items or food to the house or apartment door and leaves it there or sometimes, she hands the food or items to the person. It depends on what they want to do because of COVID-19. The leave at the door policy was made. So the customer doesn’t have to have any contact with the Dasher. If they don’t want to.
My youngest sister also eats dinner with me and prepares the meals, or else I would be eating a lot more salads. Thank you for reading.
In this blog I will discuss where I see myself in 10 years. Hopefully if I am still alive, I will still be young at heart and healthy and still eating salads.
Salads forever.
Hopefully by then, I am playing music with people and rocking out. Another thing, hopefully by then, I am living in a house and can make all the noise I want to.
By then, I hope I get justice for being shot in the head and being disabled. That would make me very happy. I walk with a gimp and my left arm does not function. The person who shot me in the head walked so hopefully I get justice from him one of these days.
Hopefully by then, I figured out a way to use my bachelor’s in social work. Hopefully I am working with other people and making a difference in their lives.
In conclusion, If I make it in ten years, I want to be young at heart, eating salads, rocking out, and playing music with other people. Hopefully by then I get justice for being shot in the head and disabled. Plus, I figured out a way to put my bachelor’s degree in Social work to use. Thank you for reading.
What are 5 everyday things that bring you happiness?
In this blog I will discuss five things that make me happy.
1. Drumming makes me happy. I can get out my frustrations on the drums. It is so refreshing. I drum until I am relieved. I cannot drum that loud here in my apartment, but it is still fun.
2. Salads make me happy. Eating salads gives me a lot of energy. Once I eat a salad, I drum. It is fantastic.
It is a mixture of salad, rice, and chicken,
3. Coffee makes me very happy. I cannot leave the house without a few sips of coffee. It gives me the energy I need to get things done for the day.
4. Water makes me very happy. I drink water everyday so I do not get dehydrated. It is hot in Arizona so water is important.
5. Writing makes me happy. Either writing on Jetpack, or writing in a notebook is awesome to get ideas on paper and write lyrics.
There are more things, but in conclusion, drumming, salads, coffee, water, writing on Jetpack or writing in a notebook. These things all make me happy. Thank you for reading.
I will describe something I learned in high school. People learn all kinds of things in high school. Some people actually learn what they want to be when they grow up in high school. Well that was not the case with me.
One thing I did learn in high school was to be on time for class. I received a bunch of tardies for a lot of classes. So, I received detention for those tardies. Soon, they realized it was the injury that was making me tardy because I walked with a gimp. They knew it was unrealistic for me to get to class in four minutes for the passing period, so they gave me all the time I needed. I never went to detention again for being tardy. I learned I needed more time to get to class because of the injury and they accommodated me. It was a winning situation. Thank you for reading.
Describe one positive change you have made in your life.
In this blog I will discuss one positive change I have made. All sorts of people like sweet food. I am no exception.
I used to eat 3 Cliff bars a week. They are full of sugar and other chemicals. I used to eat them for the protein after work outs, but since I don’t work out anymore. I have given them up and I lost weight and can now fit into more of my pants . All the sugar was not good for me either. So I am glad I don’t eat them anymore.
So my positive change in my life is not having to eat Cliff bars anymore. Thank you for reading.
