I really wish I had one but for now just doing Doordash. See how much money I can make with Doordash. I have to pay for the car I drive so Doordash is the best way to get that done.
I have a degree in Social work, maybe one of these days I can get some sort of job using it. I like working with people with disabilities since I have one. Maybe, I can pursue that sort of work.
For now, it is going to have to be Doordash until I can get something in the field of social work. Thank you for reading.
The last live performance I saw was before COVID-19 hit. It was Korn performing at KFMA day. KFMA is a local radio station in Southern AZ and they play Alternative music. It was a very cool show. I attended the concert with my sister and her friend. We all had a great time. Korn performs Alternative music too. Thank you for reading.
In this blog, I will talk about what I do to be involved in the community? I do Doordash which keeps me in the community a lot. I deliver meals and other items to people in the community. In conclusion-I do Doordash to stay active in the community. It keeps me busy. Thank you for reading.
I like many bands. Here are some bands that I like.
Oldies
The Beatles- they were the number one band of the 1960’s and for a good reason, their songs were ahead of the time back then. They invented pop, without them you would not have some of the acts today. They were incredible song writers.
Led Zeppelin- with Jimmy Page on guitar and John Bonam on drums, Robert Plant singing and John Paul Jones on keyboard and bass. It was a powerhouse of sound that no one had ever heard before. Listen to When the levee breaks, or black dog, the power that band had stood out and that is why I like them so much.
Pink Floyd- this band experimented with weird sounds that are incredible to this day. They are unique sounding, just listen to Young lust my favorite song by them or money or time. You will agree they are unique and no one sounds like them today.
80’s music
Def Leopard-the very first cassette tape I owned was by them. It was Pyromania with songs such as Rock of Ages and Fooling. It was an original sound too. Plus they have a drummer who drums with one arm, which is the drummer I try to imitate when I’m on drums because I also drum with one arm. His name is Rick Allen.
Motley Crew- this is another hard rock band, but the only difference is they are not from England like the ones above. Motley Crew- originated from Los Angeles with songs such as shes got the looks that kill and girls girls girls they are a powerhouse band too. They have great drums and guitar. They are an overall good band.
Metallica- from the first time I heard this band I fell in love with them. They have a heavy hitter on the drums and vocals you can’t deny are great, just listen to Eye of the beholder or one. They are incredible too.
90’s
Nirvana-with their Seattle sound of grunge music with their flannel shirts. They invented Alternative music with weird sounding guitar riffs and genius sound. It was an incredible time to be alive. I will never forget the day the lead singer took his life. That was sad.
Alice in chains- another great band with Layn Stanley on vocals. His voice was incredible, just listen to would, or nutshell. You will see his voice is great.
Sound Garden- they were incredible too with songs such as black hole sun, the way the music starts out soft and gets hard. It is incredible.
2000’s
Linkin Park- the lead singer had a wide range of singing and the music was pure upbeat, just listen to giving up. He could scream like no other. He was great and the band is good.
Stone Temple Pilots- I really liked them because again their sound and the lead singer could sing really well, just listen to creep. This has to be my favorite song by them.
Pantera- I like edgy music that comes with a punch, that gives me energy, such as, I’m broken or five minutes alone.
2020’s
Chevelle- I like them because of the lead singer’s voice and the way they use the guitar. It is great.
Three days grace- I like the way they sound with their edgy guitar riffs.
In conclusion-I like a lot of different bands from the 60s 80s 90s 2000s and the 2020s. Thank you for reading.
List the people you admire and look to for advice…
In this blog, I will discuss who I admire and look to for advice. Looking around, there are lots of people willing to give you advice, some costs others are free.
For me, it is a few friends, I can go to for advice and my aunt and uncle and also of course my sister. My sister has my best interests in mind, so she is a really good person for me to get advice from.
Then there is an entity , who I go to for advice and he speaks to me through my heart and that is God. He is the one I admire and I always go to him for advice. No matter the problem, he can assist with everything. He is great.
So in conclusion- I get advice from a few friends, my aunt and uncle and my sister. When I have lost all hope, I go to my almighty God and he gives me sound advice for everything I need. Thank you for reading.
Yes I do vote. This time in November it is going to be tricky. Either Donald Trump or Joe Biden. I have not decided who I am voting for because it is tough. Right now, inflation is going crazy under Biden’s watch, but Donald Trump is having all these legal problems. I don’t even know if he will go to jail or not.
I heard some people say, they would vote for a jailed Trump over Biden any day. We will have to wait for the results of the election. It will be interesting. If Trump loses again. He said he will not accept it, unless it is fair. Only time will tell if he does but yes I do vote.
In this blog, I will name the one absolute certain entity that gives me direction in life. One entity is God! He is the absolute perfect entity. Without him, I would have not survived being shot in the head. He saved my life so I have gratitude for that. He provides me with direction and everything happens when it is supposed to. All I have to do is be patient and he does the rest.
So in conclusion- God gives me direction in my life. Thank you for reading l.
Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?
In this blog, I will discuss a quote I live my life by or think about often? Lots of people have different quotes they live by. The one I live by and still use. An old friend said it to me.”Look at your options.”
When I am driving, it helps a lot. If I can easily go right onto a street is a better option than going left and risk hitting a car. If I am not at a traffic light, that has a green arrow, don’t make a left-hand turn, unless I am positively able to do it. “Look at my options,” can be applied to a lot of different scenarios. Such as college, is it easier to major in nursing or being a doctor. Look at your options, probably being a nurse is easier than being a doctor. But whatever you decide make sure you are happy with that decision because it is your career. Look at your options, can also help with meal planning. If you have items for both spaghetti and salad, and you are crunched for time. Look at your options, the salad might be easier to make than the spaghetti.
Well, that is the quote I live by and think about it often, look at your options. Thank you for reading.
