Good life

What are the most important things needed to live a good life?

In this blog, I will go over what is necessary to live a good life. You must have God in your life to make it a good life. Prayers help a lot and if you are lucky to go to church. Friends and family also help to pass the time and bounce certain ideas off of and also for a free meal, especially family.

A good job also helps especially in the United States where inflation has taken over. Money in savings also helps. Also a happy home where people are chill and do not fight with each other. Another aspect for me is music. I would be really sad without music. Either listening or playing music, they both help my mental health. Good books and especially the banned books are essential for a great life because knowledge is power. A good bed to sleep in. A good computer or smart phone or pad and pen to write, for therapeutic reasons. Thank you for reading.

Good food is a must.

The truth, if I had a name change.

If you had to change your name, what would your new name be?

In this blog, I will discuss if I had to change my name, my new name would be Shot. This guy on here called me that name and I like it because I was shot in the head. So I would change my name to Shot.

It is simple and people will remember it so that is the name. Thank you for reading.

This is it

Describe your dream chocolate bar.

This is my perfect chocolate bar.

This chocolate bar does not have any sugar and is 100% coca. It may not taste very good but it is good for me and anyone else who eats it.

I have diabetes on both sides of the family so I don’t want diabetes so eating this chocolate bar can prolong the effects of not getting diabetes because it is dark chocolate. If, anyone on here has diabetes give this bar of chocolate a try. It doesn’t taste good, but it will help with your diabetes. I eat it to  prevent diabetes. Thank you for reading.

Book from childhood

Do you remember your favorite book from childhood?

Remembering my favorite book from my childhood? Well, back then my grandma would always have me play outside with my cousins. So, I didn’t develop the love for books until I was older. All I remember was in third grade, I used to like dinosaurs, so I had a lot of picture books  with a little bit of words of dinosaurs.

In conclusion-I used to read and look at the pictures of dinosaur books in my childhood. Thank you for reading.

Three books and their impact

List three books that have had an impact on you. Why?

In this blog, I will discuss three books that had an impact on me. These books are all good reads if you have the time to read them.

The 1st book is Over my head by Claudia L. Osborn. She was a Primary Care Doctor with her own practice. One day she was riding her bike and got hit by a car and sustained a traumatic brain injury. She had to learn how to do everything over again, which is why it had an impact on me because she went through similar things that I had to learn. Such as, writing things down if I want to remember something. Even names of people she had to write down and what they did. Her struggles, such as memory issues are similar to my own, which is another impact.

The 2nd book is David Pelzer’s The Lost Boy, which was his journey through the foster care system to find a loving family as a teenager. In which he finds eventually. The impact it had was all the foster care homes he went through. I am just glad I didn’t have to go through that system.

The 3rd book is also by David Pelzer which is called “A child called it.”It is about David Pelzer’s physical abuse by his mother who drank alcohol. He would eventually get taken away from his birth family and in the 2nd, he went through the foster system. This book had an impact on me because I also was physically abused, not to the extreme he was, but bad enough. I could relate to this book.

In conclusion-the first book was Over my head by Claudia L Osborn and her struggles with her traumatic brain injury. The 2nd book is David Pelzer’s “The Lost Boy,” which is his journey through the foster care system. The 3rd book is also David Pelzer’s “A child called it.” It is about his physical abuse by his drunken mother. Thank you for reading.

Fears to overcome and the rest will come

What fears have you overcome and how?

This blog is about fears I overcome and how? I think of the future a lot and I get anxious about it because of the injury I live with (shot in the head). It never gets easier. Sometimes I want to spend all day in bed, but I know I can’t because I have to work to live. So I motivate myself by drinking a lot of caffeine and water and only think about today, because tomorrow is yet to be lived. The future can wait for another day. Thank you for reading.

One simple thing!

Describe one simple thing you do that brings joy to your life.

In this blog, I will discuss one thing that I do that brings joy to my life. Lots of people have different things that bring joy to their life. It may be their job, a pet, or their children. Whatever it is it makes people’s lives worth living because it brings joy to their lives.

What brings joy to my life is playing music. Either writing lyrics, playing drums, shaker, or singing. All of it brings me joy. I write and play drums every day because it brings me joy. Thank you for reading.

Also staring at the moon brings me joy.

Unplug and make it happen

How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?

In this blog, I will discuss how I know when it is time to unplug and what I do to make it happen? People have all kinds of ways of knowing when it is time to unplug. A big piece is when I get tired and my eyes are hurting from looking at a screen. So I unplug and write in my notebook or maybe I go to sleep. Or else, I will read a book to give my eyes a rest from screens. Thank you for reading.

Quality I value in a friend

What quality do you value most in a friend?

In this blog, I will go over what I value most in a friend. Since, I am disabled (walk with a limp and have a bum left-arm from being shot in the head), I value understanding and empathy, being able to put yourself in my shoes. Some people don’t want a disabled friend and that is fine, but if they are going to be a friend please have understanding and empathy. Thank you for reading.
