I never knew how good I would feel eating a salad every day and sometimes two salads a day. They make me feel more alive and with an apple and a cup of coffee. I feel great. I never knew I could feel like this because of the health factor. Before, I would eat processed meats and a lot of Mexican food like chimichangas, tamales, and enchiladas. Yes, very good food, but they were heavy food for my digestion. Now, I eat salads and more salads and feel awesome. Thank you for reading. Have a great night.
These burgers from Smash burger were very delicious, along with tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, bell peppers and spinach, with a whole lot of seasonings. They were great.
Well, when i was a child, up until 13 years of age. I was physically able. Life was a lot better when I was physically able. I could drum with both hands. Eat with my left hand. I was originally left-handed, but since I got shot in the head. I had to start using my right hand for everything. Without my right hand. I would be really messed up. They say everything happens for a reason. I am still trying to figure out why this happened to me. I had my whole world turned upside down, being shot in the head. To make things worse. When, I was 13 years old, they put me on tegretol for seizures, until I was 26. It would mess me up. The first pill would put me back in bed, for an hour or so. I took the next one at lunch time. All I wanted to do was go to sleep. It wasn’t a life. I had to drink coffee when I was a teenager, because the pill would knock me out. I could barely talk on the pill. I was soo tired all the time. I lost dates and a lot of friends because I could not talk to them. Also, I walk with a limp so I could not keep up with them either. When I was 26, they put me on Depakote which was better, but still knocked me out. Then, I went on Gabapentine , when I was 30 and soon after that, no more pills. I joined the gym so that was how I got off the pills. I haven’t been back to the gym in a long time, but one of these days I will return.
In conclusion, I lived two lives, one was my physically able self, up until 13 years old. After that, my disabled self, being shot in the head and that is how I remain today. Thank goodness I am not on pills for seizures anymore. Thank you for reading. Have a great night.

The advice I would give to my teenage self would be don’t go down to the river with your cousin Manny. He will shoot you in the head and ruin your life. No one will ever look at you the same. When he poses the question, just run anywhere you can, but don’t go down to the river with him. He is evil and he doesn’t care about you because it shows in how he has treated me over the years.
I know, you guys are close, but once he shoots you in the head. He leaves you behind and you get no justice because your mom doesn’t press any charges because it is her sister’s son. So, I would emphasize not going down to the river with him. He is an animal who doesn’t care what happens to you. He only cares about himself. I know if you would have shot him in the head you would have been there for him, but since he shoots you in the head. He vanishes from your life all together. Being bored is a state of mind. What one person think is boring can be interesting to another person. For instance, my step-dad can talk for hours upon hours, drone on and on. I swear, he would keep me on the phone for 2 hours at a time, with him just talking. He was a constant talker. I think he missed his calling to be a preacher or at least a teacher. He would have made a good one because he loves to talk. Yet, for his kids we get bored the first hour of him talking and blabbing. There were times, I had to use the restroom in the middle of him blabbing and I used to get up, use the restroom, come back and he was still blabbing. I have a brain injury so I don’t remember very much of our conversations, but I know they were about rolling stone magazine because he loved that magazine.
He also used to talk about his job a lot. He used to work as a psych tech at a hospital. He would play guitar there and watch over the patients and make sure, everyone was good. Some of that conversation got pretty boring. When, I got tired of it. I used to tell him I have someone on the other line. So, he would hang up and stop talking. The first 30 minutes, to an hour is good beyond that, it starts getting boring. I zone out when he is constantly blabbing. Thank you for reading. Have a great night.

I have to say, the best gift I ever received was the Atari; even though it was not a gift. It still belonged to my stepdad, but some of the games were mine. As far as being patriotic, I am. I have pride in the United States. It is one of the few countries where you can be free and just do as you please, as long as you don’t infringe on other people’s rights. So, as long as you are a good person. Do your job, fill out taxes, follow the law of the land. You should have no problems. That is me. I follow the law so I don’t get into any trouble. So, it is a really great country as long as I follow the laws and I do. I don’t want to be in prison. That would not be good.
So as far as an update on Nancy Guthrie’s case, they have not found her yet. They did find someone on the security camera at her home. They also found several gloves around her property and miles away. They also found the backpack the abductor was wearing. Yet, they have not found any suspects in the case either. The family is becoming very frustrated with progress not being made in the case. Yet her daughter, host of the Today show, said she hopes to find her mother Nancy alive and well. To develop a sense of self; even though messed up and my trajectory is on a different road. Now looking back should have gotten out of there, but where would I have run. It was pure darkness. I should have made a call, to my dad back then, but not thinking. I played into the cousin’s dark desires. He lead me down a path. I would have never dreamt possible back when I was 12, but here I am many years later looking back what was the happening that broke the donkey’s back. The happening of failed dreams not knowing too much of what else could happen, but back then I didn’t think it was possible to live with a bullet in the head. I thought once I got shot in the head. I would die, but here I am today. Still, I don’t know where I am going because it is hard to live in this broken body. I have fear that no one will accept me because of this disability. I walk around people look at me weird because of the way i limp and walk, but I go for walks anyway because of the way it makes me feel and I am not going to stop going for walks because of their weird looks. I need to get out and smell the roses sometimes . With the help of God and Jesus and the Holy spirit, I will find the strength to do something that has meaning and something that i am good at, such as living with a traumatic brain injury, shot in the head. If anyone has been following my blog for a while will know thst my favorite pastime activity is playing music. I like writing lyrics, singing lyrics, playing the shaker and playing the drum set. I play the drum set everyday and sing lyrics that I wrote everyday. It helps me relax.
The reason I am sharing the Beatles song Lucy in the sky with diamonds is because when I was in a coma. After the cousin shot me in the head. My mother and father put this song on, on a Walkman tape recorder. I would just listen to the song, through headphones. For some reason, this song was one of the contributing factors that brought me out of the coma. I remember listening to this song a lot.
It is about, Sean, John Lennon’s son brought a watercolor picture home from nursery school. John Lennon asked him what is that. Sean said, “It was Lucy in the sky with diamonds.” Lucy was one of his classmates in the nursery school. This is the inspiration for the song.

The only pet I have had is my drum set Darcy. She is the best pet because she doesn’t crap and pee all over the house. But how many pets would let you hit them with a drum stick not many. They would run away from you. Darcy lets me hit her with a drum stick, and take my frustration out on her, which is beneficial for me. Darcy never runs from me. She is always there for me to rock out and play her. When ,I am in a good or bad mood. So, see she is the best pet. She will never leave my side. I look at Craigslist and there are many people who have lost their pets. That is one reason for me, never to get a pet. If I leave a door open the dog or cat may leave and I will never see it again. I am slow, which also doesn’t help. So, I am better off with my drum set Darcy. At least she will never run away.
I know Pets are beneficial, such as cats or dogs because you can pet them. Petting them can be therapeutic. Dogs are good for protection and companionship, and also exercise. Such as taking them for walks. Dogs with loud barks scare away burglars from your house. Cats and dogs can become lap animals, which means they are always in your lap waiting to be petted or held.
