I bought my first computer in the 90’s. It was pretty fast back then. It was an e machine computer. It came with the brain of the computer separate from the monitor. There was a mouse and a mouse pad so I could maneuver the computer. I mainly got the computer for writing school papers on it. My step-dad was thrilled to get the computer. He put the internet on the computer, through AOL. It was a dial up so it was slow. We had to hook up the telephone to the computer to make AOL work, but it was good. I bought a printer so I could print out the school paperwork.
My step dad and my sister used to play doom on the computer, which is a shooter game. I even sometimes played the game because you controlled a gun, or a shotgun and you used this gun to kill evil villains in the game. As the game progresses, the villains become tougher to kill and that is when I died in the game, but it was a good game.
Then, by 2010, the computer got really old and stop working as efficiently. So, i had to retire it and I don’t remember what happened to it. I think i lost it in a move, but anyways that’s my first computer. Thank you for reading. Have a great night.
In this blog, I will write about my first computer. I received my first computer because I needed it for college papers.
In 2003, I bought an e-machine computer for about $1800 dollars. I bought it here in Tucson, at Silo electric store. It has closed down for good.
At the time of 2003, it was very fast. The computer was in my room. I had the works. It was a desktop computer. It had a monitor and mouse. I also had a printer for it, to print out the papers I wrote out. The computer was top notch for the time.
I was living with my parents back then, so my dad put AOL (Americans On-line). Every night after my dad got off of work he would go into my room and look at AOL. I would have to get up early and my dad would be using AOL on my computer. Sometimes, it got annoying because he would wake me up out of a sound sleep. So eventually, I ended up moving out and took the computer with me. He eventually bought another computer and he helped me buy another computer because the e-machine was becoming obsolete. It would screw up a lot. It eventually got too many viruses on it, but it worked great throughout my bachelor’s in social work degree. I think I lost it in the moving process so that is my first computer. Thank you for reading.
