What part of your routine do you always try to skip if you can?

Introduction- today I am going to talk about the part of my routine I always try to skip if I can.

I’m a doordash driver and deliver food and other items to people. I pick up the item at a place like a drug store such as Walgreens and deliver the item or food to their house. We also deliver food from restaurants to their house.

Definition: run-the process of picking up items from a store or a restaurant and delivering the items to the house of the customer.

Well, what I try to skip is driving from central Tucson to Oro Valley, way north because it is somewhat of 15 miles one way. Plus I have to come back so it will be like 30 miles. But if it is like a 25 dollar run or more it will be worth it, then I do the run, but only if the miles away equal the cash. For instance, if it is a 15 mile run I would expect it to be 15 dollars or more. So, my gas lasts longer that way. The best ones are more cash less miles.

In conclusion- we discussed what part of my routine I like to skip if I can. I am a doordash driver so I try to skip going to Oro Valley, if at all possible or going deep south because also those runs are usually not worth it. Even if they are, most of the time I try to skip going deep south also. Unless it is way more cash than miles. Thank you for reading.

Most famous person I know.

Who is the most famous or infamous person you have ever met?

Introduction- today I am going to talk about the most famous person I know.

I don’t know any infamous people, most of the people I know are regular folks who work the grind everyday and may play music on the side.

The most famous person I met was at a concert he was doing, when I was ten years old is JT from Kool and the Gang. JT was the lead singer. They are a rhythm and blues band way back in the 1980’s.

My parents were promoters a long time ago and brought Kool and the gang here to Tucson AZ and all over the country. It was their job to promote different concerts all over the country.

Kool and the Gang sang “Celebrate.” I think that was their biggest hit. Also, sang “Lady’s night,” which was another big hit for them. Well I received JT’s autograph. He is the lead singer. He is such a cool guy. I didn’t get to know him but I met him.

In conclusion-the most famous person I met was JT from Kool and the Gang because my parents brought the show to Tucson AZ. Thank you for reading.

Pet for life

What is good about having a pet?

Introduction- today I will discuss what is good about having a pet. Pets can provide companionship. They can provide protection for your home. The dog can alert you if an intruder is getting into your house. Pets can also provide pet therapy, where you can pet the pet and get all warm and fuzzy inside. The dog is supposed to be man’s best friend, so they can provide entertainment for the person that owns them. You can play fetch with a dog. My dad’s girlfriend used to play fetch with the cats. So there is a lot you can do with a pet.

The only pet I have is a drum set. I play it every day. It never runs from me or it never poops on the floor, that is why it is the best pet, my drum set Darcy. She has been with me for a long time and a lot longer hopefully.

In conclusion- people have pets for a lot of reasons, such as companionship, protection, if a burglar is trying to get inside your house, the dog will alert you. They also provide pet therapy, by you petting them. They can be your best friend and also provide entertainment. The only pet I have is a drum set and it is the only pet I need. Name the most expensive personal item you’ve ever purchased (not your home or car).

Everyone has expensive items that they own. They may own computers, jewelry, clothes, like a suit or a tuxedo. The most expensive thing I own is my drum set Darcy. I named her that because of the D for Darcy, which there is a d for Drum set. So she is Darcy the drum set.

She helps me relieve a lot of my anger, without her I would have serious anger issues. Since I have her I am more relaxed and can ease my tension.

In conclusion, my drum set Darcy is the most expensive thing I own. It has gotten me through a lot of pain and anger. Thank you for reading.

What podcasts are you listening to?

Introduction- in this blog I will discuss which podcasts I listen to. Podcasts are interesting because they go over so many topics such as true crime, politics, humor, and interviews etc.

A podcast that I watch on YouTube is Trey King. He goes over different crimes that people commit and it is just interesting. He always takes a look at the perpetrator and says, something like 56 in the face, which he is very accurate. He did a show a little while back about a woman that assaulted this child at, I think it was a Burger King. Then, they nabbed the woman and Trey King did another show about that, but it served her right, people need to keep their hands off the youngsters. Well, this is the one podcast that I watch.

In conclusion- people listen and watch all sorts of different podcasts. The one I watch on YouTube is Trey King. He talks about different crimes and he gets down right mad because people commit these crimes. He also gets input from his YouTube followers on which crimes they want him to talk about. My favorite subject!

What was your favorite subject in school?

Introduction- Everyone has a favorite subject in school, let it be English, math, or science or something else. Probably because they would excel in that subject. Or it presented a challenge for them, either way it is their favorite subject.

My favorite subject in school was the band because I like to play the drums. It was called the snare drum or the bass drum, or even cymbals. I played the snare drum. I liked the challenge of learning the new music. Back then, I was going to be a drummer. Then, I received a bullet in the head. That set me back a lot, but I still like playing the drums. It is fun and relieves my anger.

Mostly, in front of an audience I like to play the shaker because it is easier to transport. I will bring my drum set if the people really want me to.

In conclusion- my favorite subject in school was the band because I got to play the drums ie the snare drum. Others played clarinets, flutes, saxophones, French Horns, trombones, etc. plus percussion instruments. It was a fun time during my youth until I was shot in the head when I was 13 years old. Even today, I still enjoy playing the drum set because it is fun and relieves my anger. Thank you for reading.

Screen the time away

How do you manage screen time for yourself?

Introduction- in this blog I am going to discuss how I manage my screen time. Before I start my day, I write a lyric in a note book. I may keep writing the same lyric until I remember it. For the rest of the day I am on my smartphone.

My job doordash requires me to use the smartphone. I watch shows on Hulu and Netflix on the smartphone. I read the news on my smartphone. I write these blogs on my smartphone. I play games such as Clash Royale on my smartphone. I also do surveys on my smartphone. I listen to music on my smartphone. So, my smartphone is always on. I have two of them so when one of them runs out of juice I have another one to use. One I use to watch shows, the other one is for doordash, which is practical.

So, I really don’t manage my time on the smartphone I go on it all day because I use it for so many activities that I listed in the above paragraph. Life would be boring without my smartphones period. I am almost always on them.

In conclusion- we discussed how I manage my screen time and I said, that I am always on them, unless I am writing lyrics in my notebook, besides that I am always on my smartphone because I do so much with them. Thank you for reading.

Time is precious

Do you need time?

Introduction- Everyone needs time. Time is one of those things you either have on your side or you need more of it. When time is gone it is gone. You can’t get it back.

For example, when I was in college I was a procrastinator. I used to do papers the night before they were due and fortunately I received a B on them. So deadlines are something to deal with, as they come up I used to do some of my best work under the gun.

If I could do it all over, I would start on the papers sooner so I could relax and know I got them done right without stress of being under the gun.

I need time to figure out my next move. I want to start playing music again, but I have so much going on such as doordash. I need to pay for the car I drive by doing doordash.

One of these days soon I will show up at an open mic and put myself out there. It is so much fun to play music and sing. That is what I need more time to do.

In conclusion- I need more time to figure out how I am going to be able to do Doordash and play music. At the open mics, I need to be patient and wait for them to call me up so I can perform. Maybe get there early and leave early so I can do Doordash afterwards., that is the best thing. Thank you for reading.

Hopefully more music, more writing

What will your life be like in three years?

What will my life be like in three years. Hopefully by then, I am making music with people, who play bass and guitar because I am a drummer and I also do a little singing and I write lyrics. Hopefully, I can do something with my talent because that makes me feel good. I need to put myself out there.

Hopefully I still write and share all my experiences with the friends I have made here. Everyone is so nice that I have talked to. You guys are all wonderful. So I will most likely be writing still on WordPress aka jetpack. It is a great way to communicate with the world.

Hopefully, by then I am able to put my degree to work for me. If I was not disabled it would have worked out for me, but since I am disabled it doesn’t. I need to try anyway to see if something can happen with the degree I received. Back in 2007 it didn’t work out, but now it is a different time, let’s see if it will work. Thank you for reading.

My day is underwear and shirt day, where everyone wears their underwear and shoes and a shirt.

Invent a holiday! Explain how and why everyone should celebrate.

It is hot in the summer, especially around June and July. Well, my holiday will be just wear your underwear and shirt and shoes and go about your day. It is called Underwear and shirt day because when it is over a hundred degrees outside you don’t want to put on pants and sweat like crazy. Also the humidity combined with the heat is almost unbearable so my day makes you feel cool. Underwear and shirt day would be welcomed especially on the hottest day of the year, which is July 21st. So that is my holiday maybe if people don’t wear underwear, someone can buy a pair for them and then they can celebrate the holiday. Thank you for reading.
