Beef is the new eggs in the US

First it was eggs that went up in price. Now it is beef. Thank goodness I don’t buy beef on a regular basis because it would cost me a lot of money.

So the Tariffs on items like beef and eggs and just about any grocery item I would like to change. Just make the items more affordable, before Trump got tariff happy. It doesn’t affect Trump because he is worth 5 billion dollars, but for the regular man and woman it is a big deal. Hopefully, produce doesn’t start going up in price. Ultimate comfort food

Potato dishes are ultimate food that’s not only wholesome but, for the most part, good for you. Starches are heavy, so don’t eat a lot of them, but in moderation. They are good for you.

Salads are my one go-to food for comfort. Without salad, i would be very tired. Another comfort drink is coffee. It helps me stay focused on the task ahead of me. Lastly, apples are loaded with vitamins and minerals and magnesium. They make the perfect snack. I heard recently that eating apples helps people not develop alzheimers, so that’s another good reason to add apples to your diet. Thank you for reading.

This is the cell phone game I have been playing forever, it seems. It is a game where both opponents have to blow up the other opponents’ castles. You get to use various characters, such as the prince or Peekka, to help you facilitate blowing up the castles. You can even bomb the castles if necessary. You only get like 3 minutes to blow up the opponents castles. So, it doesn’t matter if you blow up one castle and they didn’t blow up any castles from you. You won. So the person who blows up the most castles and you only have three castles wins the game. You can buy characters that will help you win more efficiently, but I never did do that because I only play for fun. Sometimes I win, and sometimes I lose big time, but it is all out of good fun. It is just a way to fill time, so I am not bored. Sometimes, it can be frustrating when they blow up your three castles really quickly. Yet, I may want to play again so I can blow up some other opponents’ castles. It all depends on my mood. Thank you for reading.

Tortillas, tacos, and salad

I am part Mexican, so I do love tortillas and tacos. It is part of my heritage, so I would like to make tacos and tortillas. It would be delicious.

Then adding some salads and fruit to the mixture would be great. Just to aid with digestion and it would be healthier this way. So, when I walk away from the meal. I will not feel heavy, bloated, and have to go and lay down. Thank you for reading.

Pizza and avocado and salad, plus a dog

This cheese pizza with avocado was really delicious. The avocado made the piece of pizza even more special, and the salad was an extra bonus. So it was another killer dinner.

Well, one evening, when the sun was going down. I decided to walk to Whole Foods from my apartment. Since I needed some more pears and yogurts. While I saw the sun going down and the sun was in a full sunset. I happened to come upon a dog without a leash. The dog jumped up and bit me on the right elbow.

This is where the dog bit me.

Thank God the dog’s owner was there because the owner saved me from being attacked more. Well, I reported it to the police but nothing came from that. I am still in the waiting phase. The police came over to my apartment and looked at the bite and gave me a card. I guess, now I should probably call the number on the card again because I called the number before, but no one picked up. So, it has been frustrating to get help for this situation.

On the bright side, I went to Whole Foods and bought the pears and yogurts, and that was the last time I walked through the neighborhood. Well, next time, I walk through the neighborhood. I will take a different route. So this won’t happen again to me. I will never own a dog. They bark way too much, and they are annoying. I said this in my other post.

Cats are cool, but i would rather remain with my real pet Darcy, the drum set. She is the only pet I need. She waits patiently for me to play her. She is awesome. When I  get angry and need to get out some stress. She is there for me to drum on. She is the best pet. Thank you for reading.

Flooding in Kerrville county Texas. It is so sad

Flooding came when no one was expecting, at night, on July 4th. The floods have taken countless lives. They say the floods have taken 134 and there are still a 101 still missing. Down the river, swift water rescues to get everyone to safety, while people are screaming in their homes because they can’t get out of them. It is still pouring rain in the area so that makes it hard to find other bodies in the flood waters. The Guadalupe River swelled up and sent houses down the river and caused 37 children to lose their lives, which is so sad. This is a tragedy that should have never happened. There should have been a warning system in place, knowing that the area floods. Some people got warning notices on their phones, while others didn’t. There should have been a siren system going off to warn of the flooding. Maybe, since this catastrophe occurred, they may install a siren system so something, like this won’t occur again because one death is too many, countless deaths means real changes need to occur, so this doesn’t happen again.
