Influential teacher

Who was your most influential teacher? Why?

My most influential teacher was Miss Armenta. She taught algebra at Pima college east campus. Pima is the county that Tucson AZ is in.

Miss Armenta, has a loud voice and when she explained the algebra work to the students and I. It made perfect sense because she used her voice to help other students and I understand exactly what was happening in the problems. If we still didn’t understand the algebra work she would explain it over again until we got the jist of the problems. She was extremely patient with us, the students and I. She would have us do problems on the chalkboard so then, we would really understand the algebra work.

In conclusion, Miss Armenta was the most influential teacher I ever had because when I gave speeches in college,I would try to emulate her and speak clearly and loudly enough so the students would understand what I was saying. Thank you for reading.

My favorite hobby!

What do you wish you could do more every day?

In this blog, I will discuss what I wish I could do more everyday. I wish I could play more music,by myself or with people. This part of my life is missing. Once I get the car situation under control and the bill caught up. I will return to music. For now, I just sing and play drums in my apartment quietly.

Another thing I wish I could do is write more on Jetpack. I am so busy during the day that I never have time to just write on Jetpack. I work a lot so that eats up my time. I am never ahead of the car payment. Like I said in other posts, it is expensive.

I have not stopped writing lyrics. I have to do this daily or else I get a headache or get angry. Either one is not good so I write lyrics. I just wish I could play music with others. That would be awesome.

In conclusion- I wish I could play more music with people or by myself in front of a crowd. Also, I wish I could write more on Jetpack. The concern is my expensive car. I have to work to cover the payment. Doordash is not giving me a lot of work these days, so I have to work long hours to make a little bit of money. Also in my area, there are a lot of people who do Doordash, which does not help. I get there little by little. Thank you for reading.

In this blog, I will go over what tattoo I want and where I would put it? There are so many tattoos to choose from and places to put them. It is hard to choose.

I would probably get a dragon tattoo on my right shoulder. I have always wanted a dragon tattoo. One day, I will get my wish. Thank you for reading.

What is one word that describes you?

The word that describes me is honest. I never lie to people. My word means everything. If I say I will be there. I usually show up, unless there’s an emergency. I also communicate with the people and tell them I will not be able to come.

The best compliment I received was from an old dear friend’s wife. She said,”If i was not married. I would date you.” She was very pretty, but rats very married. She also said I was handsome. Thank you for reading.

I would have to drive my car, if I was going to take a cross country trip. I would want to see everything and really get close and personal with things. So driving my car would be my way of going cross country. Thank you for reading.

Exploding with confidence

Who is the most confident person you know?

In this blog I will explain who is the most confident person I know. Lots of people are confident. Some more than others.

This guy is the older brother to my stepdad, which makes him my uncle. Yes my uncle Phil. What makes him extraordinary is that he went to college and became a lawyer. He put away some hardened criminals in prison. If, they knew where he lived. He would certainly die.

Then a little while into his career. He became a judge and was on the ballet so the people of Tucson could vote for him and yes, he won. He won several years as a judge. He was an appealent judge. When someone doesn’t win a case and they want to win the case. They go to the appeals court and visit my uncle Phil because he is the judge for that court.

In conclusion the most confident person I know is my uncle Phil. He is an appealent judge.

When the funk hits

What strategies do you use to cope with negative feelings?

In this blog I will discuss what strategies I use to deal with negative feelings. When I am in a funky mood of negative feelings. I drum a lot. This tends to ease my moods and makes me happy or just relieved. I also write out the feelings this makes me feel a little better. If none of that works, I drink coffee and pretend I am happy or I go to sleep. So, the negative feelings do not get the best of me. Thank you for reading.

Lose is lost

What activities do you lose yourself in?

In this blog, I will explain what activities I lose myself in. It is very easy for some of us to lose ourselves in certain activities, such as being outside in nature. This is a big one for me. Just laying on the grass at a park at night, staring up at the sky, looking at the moon. I always lose myself in that moment.

Also, listening to music, such as Nutshell by Alice in chains or Give up by Lincoln Park. Also, I lose myself when I listen to 2pac Does Heaven gotta ghetto. Those songs touch my soul very deeply and I lose it.

Also, when I drum and sing a song I wrote. I also lose it. I can’t really hit my drums that hard because I am in an apartment, but I still lose it very much. When I write lyrics I am lost in the moment and sometimes I can picture a band playing the lyric I wrote.

Writing on Jetpack also makes me lose it because I can escape from my hectic life of being disabled (shot in the head) and just focus on writing for the moment and think of pleasant things in writing.

In conclusion being in nature, listening to music, drumming and singing, writing lyrics, and finally writing on Jetpack, all make me lose it. Thank you for reading.

Desperado

What movies or TV series have you watched more than 5 times?

In this blog, I will discuss what movies or TV series I have watched more than 5 times.

The movie is a classic with Antonio Banderas and Salma Hyak. It is definitely an adrenaline movie.

This is one of Antonio Banderas’s best movies. It is definitely packed with action.

Another movie is Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. The movie is hilarious.

This movie will have you rolling on the floor. It is that funny. I have watched it probably more than five times and I still laugh at it.

In conclusion- I rarely watch a movie more than five times, but Desperado and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles I have watched numerous times. There are more such as Shaft with Samuel Jackson and Eight heads in a Duffle bag with Joe Pechi. This movie is hilarious also. These movies are truly great. Thank you for reading.
